Forsythia is a full-service floral design company operated by Longhorn owner Amy Forsyth who has lived in Austin for 25 years and founded Forsythia in 2019. Amy strives to provide her couples with exceptional service as they prepare for their dream day. Her passion extends beyond her floral creations into her business practices as she works diligently to ensure that every detail is to her clients’ satisfaction. Amy is the type of person who has never met a stranger and immediately puts others at ease with her calm, sunny and fun disposition.
I have always had a love of people, helping others and creating beautiful things. Before I began Forsythia, I worked at NSPL for 4 years, which allowed me to refine my skill set for customer service, quick-thinking and dedication. For those 4 years, I guided people on the worst day of their lives. As a florist, I do not take the privilege of celebrating with clients on the best days of their lives lightly. It is an honor to be a part of such joy after figuratively holding the hands of so many who will never be able to experience such happiness. What an immense pleasure it has been to flower over 250 weddings! I can't wait to hear from you!

LOVED our wedding florals!!
We could not have loved working with Forsythia Florals more for our wedding!! She was reliable and easy to work with. She respected our budget and absolutely nailed the vision. Our florals were insanely gorgeous, unique, and exactly what we wanted. I got so many compliments and have recommended Amy to anyone I know planning weddings!

Our florals were everything I could have dreamed of and more! Amy was amazing to work with. The process of planning the flowers and colors to use, and where exactly to place the pieces was so easy since she works at Hummingbird House so often. It also helped that a few of my inspiration photos were actually of her work! She is super responsive to messages, and her crew arrived to the venue before I even got there Saturday to start setting up! One of my favorite touches that she provided was that the flowers for the corsages were attached to a metal cuff, instead of the beaded bracelets. She also provided our candles and hurricane vases which helped so much with cutting down on decor costs and length of set up. I truly think about our florals daily, and Amy really made my dreams come true. I highly recommend Forsythia Florals!

She quickly answered any questions we had and updated our proposal multiple times as we made changes.
