As a bridal beauty expert, Irene has participated in New York International Bridal Week, and has proudly serviced numerous of satisfied bridal clients in her career. Inspired by industry greats, Irene continues her education by regularly attending national workshops and seminars to hone her skills and work alongside the very best in the business. Irene currently resides in San Antonio, TX with her husband and son. She works regularly with brides and photographers on location, and is available for travel both nationally and internationally to provide her signature service.

    Irene was amazing to work with from the start. My wedding was a destination wedding so she was able to schedule my makeup trial the day before my wedding. She’s talented, professional, and gives close attention to detail. She was with me for touch ups until right before I walked the aisle. My makeup and hair lasted all day/night and it was exactly what I envisioned.

    Save yourself the time/effort and stop poring over tons of reviews because you will NEVER find a better makeup artist than Irene. The level of expertise and knowledge she possesses is unparalleled. As if that weren’t enough, she is the sweetest, most easy going person ever! The minute I stepped into her studio for my trial, she made me feel right at ease. I could go on and on describing her wonderful qualities and impressive techniques (not to mention she has all the best products), but the reason I would implore any bride to book with Irene O’Brien Artistry is because NO ONE will work harder to fully understand your vision and bring it to life. Irene has a unique desire to recognize exactly the look and feeling you’re going for (even if you yourself can’t put it into words what you envision) and then executes it perfectly!! I don’t know how she does it. It’s almost as if she’s a mind reader, but most likely it’s her decades of experience and passion for her craft. I tend to be really picky and have high (sometimes impossible) expectations, so I’m sure you can imagine how much pressure and anxiety I had leading up to the most important day of my life so far. That being said, I can truly say that I have NEVER felt more beautiful in my life than I did the day of my wedding. I looked my best thanks to Irene (and of course Crystel who did my hair) and every time I look back at the photos, I will feel nothing but immense gratitude to her for that gift. In conclusion, please do yourself a favor and do not try to save money by going to Ulta or Sephora. Don’t trust your friend to do this important task for you. Instead, invest a little in a fun and stress-free experience with your closest girls! Just pop the champagne, blast the tunes, get into something comfortable, and let Irene take care of the rest. I PROMISE YOU: SHE WILL BLOW YOU AWAY! P.S. my old fashioned mom who wears minimal makeup and had never had it professionally done looked FLAWLESS and felt incredibly confident the entire night because Irene brought out her most beautiful features in the most subtle way (that also photographed perfectly)!!! So grateful!!

    I love Irene and Claudia. They are masters at what they do, so easy to work with, and fun people. They did my makeup and hair for my bridal photos and wedding. They also worked on my bridal party. Everything was flawless. I felt so gorgeous, as did my bridal party. I love them and highly recommend them.
