Hello! My name is Amarah, the creative force behind Southern Sparkle Events and a devoted Austinite. With over 25 years calling Austin home and a degree from UT Austin, I’m as local as it gets. My journey in floral and event design started long before college. I’ve always enjoyed designing beautiful arrangements and magical events. Fast forward to today, I’m pouring those learned skills into Southern Sparkle Events. There is no greater joy for me than seeing my clients absolutely wowed. So if you’re planning your next event, I’ve got you covered.

Our company takes pride in being able to design with real and silk florals, specializing in designs for arches, centerpieces, aisle markers, staging, walkways, and more.     We worked with Amarah and her team for all the florals at our wedding this past May. She did an incredible job bringing our vision to life. It looked even better than I could have imagined. She was receptive to all feedback and requests, attending the walk through meeting as well. We met several times to discuss the decor and she even had additional rentals that helped our day go smoothly. She and her team arrived in time to finish the Mandhap/Chuppah even with a rain delay. We were able to enjoy the arrangements even a week past our wedding. I thought her prices were very reasonable within the wedding industry and she was able to adjust items to accommodate our budget.

    Amarah is truly a gem! She knew how to execute my vision without breaking the bank. I received the most compliments on my wedding florals than anything else! She’s communicative, professional and an overall superstar at what she does! Highly recommend. 10/10!

    First off, Amara is just so sweet to talk to. She heard us indefinitely to understand the vision we had in our minds. Our wedding was a fusion (Paki-American) but we wanted more modern with fall garden touch. Amara went beyond to keep our budget in mind and work towards it. We can not appreciate enough for her dedication and hard work to make our wedding ceremony and reception so beautiful and dreamy. Thank you Southern Sparkle Events for being part of our big day!

    What an incredible experience with Southern Sparkle Events - we will forever be grateful for the way they transformed our venue for the wedding. Although I didn’t think a backdrop was necessary, my wedding planner convinced me that we needed one and connected us with Amarah at Southern Sparkle. She was professional, quick to respond and patient with me as we talked through everything I was looking for. Yall when I say that this backdrop absolutely transformed the space, I’m not exaggerating. Amarah and her team worked absolute magic and have such a good eye for design. Thank you again a wonderful experience!! I would absolutely recommend working with this team :)
