Hello! My name is Amarah, the creative force behind Southern Sparkle Events and a devoted Austinite. With over 25 years calling Austin home and a degree from UT Austin, I’m as local as it gets. My journey in floral and event design started long before college. I’ve always enjoyed designing beautiful arrangements and magical events. Fast forward to today, I’m pouring those learned skills into Southern Sparkle Events. There is no greater joy for me than seeing my clients absolutely wowed. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Amarah and Southern Sparkle Events! From the very first phone call, Amarah took the time to get to know us and what exactly we wanted for our wedding vision. She was so accommodating to what our budget was and helped guide us every step of the way.The arrangements were stunning! The flowers were super fresh and looked beautiful! Everything looked amazing and I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. We received so many compliments from our guests!Everything about working with Southern Sparkle Events was stress free and perfect from start to finish. I cannot recommend Southern Sparkle Events enough!

We worked with Amarah and her team for all the florals at our wedding this past May. She did an incredible job bringing our vision to life. It looked even better than I could have imagined. She was receptive to all feedback and requests, attending the walk through meeting as well. We met several times to discuss the decor and she even had additional rentals that helped our day go smoothly. She and her team arrived in time to finish the Mandhap/Chuppah even with a rain delay. We were able to enjoy the arrangements even a week past our wedding. I thought her prices were very reasonable within the wedding industry and she was able to adjust items to accommodate our budget.

First off, Amara is just so sweet to talk to. She heard us indefinitely to understand the vision we had in our minds. Our wedding was a fusion (Paki-American) but we wanted more modern with fall garden touch. Amara went beyond to keep our budget in mind and work towards it. We can not appreciate enough for her dedication and hard work to make our wedding ceremony and reception so beautiful and dreamy. Thank you Southern Sparkle Events for being part of our big day!
