The vinyl bar he offers—letting guests sort through crates of vinyl to make requests—not only made guests feel involved and gave them something to do, it's also an offering I've never seen before from any other DJ. The selections, all curated by Phil based on our meetings, were amazing, and he had something for everyone: the millennial bride and groom, our millennial and Gen Z friends, and our boomer and Gen X parents. I would recommend DJ Phil Does It to absolutely anyone getting married in the Austin area. Such a phenomenal experience from start to finish. “I found Mike via thumbtack & although on there it stated he was booked on my wedding date I thought I’d still reach out to him. I’m so happy I did because he put me in touch with our dj, thankyouteddy and he did an awesome job djing for our wedding! Mike was very informative and gave me plenty of information. He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”
