My mission is to provide lasting memories of a great party, and to send your guests home wanting more. If 10 years from now people aren't still telling you how much fun they had at your wedding then I haven't done my job!

We are a DJ entertainment company. My DJs make the most important day in a bride's life the best party of her life. I promise responsive service, my personal attention to every event, and a DJ who is a true entertainer rather than a jukebox. My DJs and I mix the music, remix songs live, and create mashups on the spot, all within the parameters our clients set ahead of time, and by taking requests at the party. We’re personable and charismatic MCs who keep the party flowing and the guests having fun. We help every bride fulfill her destiny as the star of her wedding day. Fantastic Wedding DJ
If I were to describe Greg & the Blue Moon Beats team in one word, it would be FANTASTIC. I cannot underscore this enough - Greg was truly an integral part of making our wedding the best day of our lives! From thoughtful planning to quick communication to flawless execution (music, lighting, photobooth), we couldn’t have asked for a better partner. Greg was on point with every song selected - not to mention he’s a wonderful MC. We came to Greg with a vision for our wedding reception - once the dance floor opened, we wanted our reception to be a real PARTY. We wanted every song to be a “banger.” We wanted everyone on the dancefloor until the lights turned back on. As inspiration, I shared an 11 hour playlist with Greg; the playlist spanned decades of music and covered multiple genres. Greg’s expertise is unparalleled, and somehow he interpreted this messy mind dump of songs and delivered a set list that was beyond anything we could have imagined. And, I want to be clear, this wasn’t a copy / paste job. It didn’t feel like the standard wedding mix. Greg mixed in his magic and developed a curated list of songs that kept our guests on the dancefloor for 3 hours straight. Each song was better than the last. It was amazing!!! Greg also helped us navigate the music and vibes for the cocktail hour and dinner period. We hadn’t put much consideration into this aspect of planning. We very much appreciated his advice. The music created a welcoming and fun ambiance for us and our guests. I’d also recommend hiring a saxophonist (Greg can source!). We had the sax player during cocktail hour and dinner and our guests loved that touch. In summary, Greg & team were INCREDIBLE and exceeded expectations across the board!

Best Wedding DJ in Austin!
Greg was key to making our wedding such an amazing experience from start to finish. From cocktail hour to the final dance, everything flowed perfectly. The music, lighting, and photobooth were all fantastic and kept everyone engaged and having fun. Beyond the day itself, Greg was incredibly easy to work with and always quick to respond and proactive throughout the entire planning process, which is invaluable when planning a wedding. We truly appreciate how smooth and stress-free he made everything.

Best Wedding DJ!
Thank you so much to DJ Greg Gioia from Blue Moon Beats for providing the best music, vibes and energy on my wedding day! My husband and I couldn’t thank you enough. Greg was great at communication, organized, knew how to keep everyone dancing all night, always played the right songs at the right time, followed the timeline 100%, and our guests had a blast! My wedding was Mexican/American wedding and all of our guests danced the whole time and enjoyed the wedding thanks to Greg knowing that and him being able to mix my Spanish music and American music for my husband’s guests which I’m so happy he did! He was great at reading the crowd to keep the energy going. The dancing lights and uplights made the reception feel more fun!! The dancing on the clouds for my first dance with my husband was the most romantic thing ever!! I absolutely loved it and even my guests commented on how dancing on the clouds made the dance 100 times more adorable, dreamy and fun. I highly recommend DJ Greg for any event!! If you want a dance floor full of people dancing, singing and happy, go with Greg! Thank you again for making my wedding day unforgettable!! Bat City Beats is the team you want!
Ok, here we go. This review is long overdue, but absolutely well-deserved because what Bat City Beats did for our wedding and after party was nothing short of EPIC (and I don’t use that word lightly). The Wedding From the very beginning, I knew we were in good hands. The team immediately said, “Oh, we’ve worked at Malverde before. Easy setup.” And it was. They coordinated seamlessly with our other vendors, and everything went off without a hitch. The MC was outstanding. He knew exactly how to read the room, brought the perfect energy, and genuinely seemed excited to celebrate with us. He had the right jokes at the right moments, got everyone moving when it was time to dance, and pulled things back at the perfect times too. The sound during our vows was flawless—clear, balanced, and emotional without being overpowering. The music cues were timed perfectly: walking down the aisle, the fadeouts, the transitions… smooth as butter. These guys are true pros who clearly love what they do. They also ran our photobooth and didn’t just set it up. They hyped it up, got everyone involved, and made sure we had an incredible collection of fun, candid shots with all of our family and friends. It wasn’t just a booth; it was another way they helped build the experience. The After Party And then… the after party. When we first started planning, they asked me: “Do you want a great party or do you want an experience?” My response: “This is once in a lifetime. Let’s make it an experience.” And wow, did they deliver. They came out beforehand, scoped the venue, and built the exact setup needed to turn our space into a full-on EDM show. Strategic lighting, legit lasers, booming sound that filled the room with deep bass and crystal-clear highs—it was everything we imagined and more. Neema, one of their DJs (highly recommend), kicked things off with the perfect vibe, and Bat City Beats provided all the right equipment for the other DJs we brought in. Our friends haven’t stopped talking about it since. It wasn’t just a party—it was an experience we’ll never forget. Communication & Professionalism Throughout the entire process, their communication was top-tier. They answered every question I threw at them (and there were many), never once seemed annoyed, and always reassured me with, “We’ve got it. Not a problem.” And sure enough, they showed up with their full team and absolutely crushed it. Final Word If you’re still reading this and wondering if you should hire Bat City Beats, let me save you the stress: Yes. Hire them. Whether it’s sound, lighting, MC, DJ, or photobooth, this is the team you want on your side. I had zero issues. 100% positive experience. They made our wedding and after party unforgettable.

Great DJ and Amazing MC
It goes without saying that Greg is a great DJ, but I had so many guests comment on what a great MC he is. Every announcement was clear and he was charming and funny! And of course the music was perfect. He played all of our must play songs, and then chose a bunch on his own and mixed them all in so well.
