Built in 1845 as a Methodist Church and later purchased and expanded in 1895 by the Masons, this former iconic building in the City of Poughkeepsie has undergone a major transformation to become a one-of-a-kind event space in the Hudson Valley. Many original features remain today such as the large stained glass windows, brick façade, architectural details, wood floors, and so much more. Rich in history and nestled in the heart of the Queen City of Poughkeepsie, Revel 32° offers guests something truly unique. At Storybrook Hollow, fantasy comes to life, rekindling the spark of imagination and creating a one of a kind atmosphere. Based in a little woodland hollow in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains of New York, we have devoted ourselves to creating an intimate, enchanting castle space for weddings and events. Every nook and cranny of this local landmark is filled to the brim with magic and wonder, featuring beautiful stonework inside and out, as well as hundred-year-old hand-hewn wood beams throughout the interior. Little hidden magical features are everywhere around you, such as carved green man faces and even fluttering stone butterflies. A colossal 20+ foot tall stone fireplace is featured as the centerpiece of the great hall along with charmingly rustic seating at stunning stone-topped cocktail tables and even a comfy couch by the fireside. Our venue holds 80 seats inside and 150 outside. You and your guests will feel like you’ve stepped right into a fairytale!

Created by pioneering artist and professor Harvey Fite, Opus 40 is a world-famous sculpture park and museum with nearly 60 acres of meadows, forested paths and bluestone quarries — including 6.5 acres of earthwork sculpture — in the heart of the Hudson Valley. We welcome guests from April through November, and host live music and theatrical performances — all with the majestic Catskill Mountains as the backdrop. “In a culture of disposability,” notes David Wallis in The New York Times, not only does Opus 40 constitute “what Architectural Digest described as one of ‘the most beguiling works of art on the entire continent,’ but stands as a monument to discipline and hard work.” Considered by many to be the Stonehenge of North America, Opus 40 welcomes more than 20,000 visitors each year. Our “spectacular stone monument” (VICE) serves as a popular site for destination weddings, as well as photo shoots for the likes of Barneys NY, VOGUE, Nylon and famed photographer Nigel Barker.

The Hangar at 743 acts as a truly memorable wedding location, for everything from breathtaking wedding party photos to an expansive dance floor and plenty of amenities for a perfect day. Weddings at the venue can utilize 8,000 square feet of space, which offers plenty of flexibility for different configurations, including seated dinners, passed appetizers, and after-dinner dancing. Weddings that include live entertainment can have bands and performers set up on the second level, allowing everyone in attendance to enjoy the performance. The venue bar area includes a Kegerator, ice machine, and beverage cooler for use by bar staff, while caterers and waitstaff can use the dedicated kitchenette with sinks and a microwave for preparation and staging. Clients of The Hangar at 743 have access to a separate and comfortable preparation space that allows them to enjoy a picture perfect and safe space to retreat if they need touch ups.

In 1926, Helen Osborne Storrow was decorating a temporary structure to depict an early American kitchen. An active trustee of the Eastern States Exposition and chairwoman of the Home Department, she dreamed of moving the handicraft exhibit to an actual home on-site – a building with its own kitchen!
