“We loved Blenheim Hill farm when we first saw it, which was under a foot of fresh snow, but when we returned for our wedding day (8/1/26) and saw everything in bloom we loved it even more. The place is beautiful, remote and relaxing. There are no sounds of traffic and the views are incredible. When guests starting arriving on Friday night everybody just kept asking us “where did you find this place??” Its truly beautiful! An idyllic place to get married. The Farmhouse, where we had close family stay for the weekend, is charming and comfortable. The kids loved playing with the goats, exploring and swimming in the lake. The adults relaxed and walked the property. The staff were helpful and fantastic the entire time. Leading up to the wedding, the venue had an online portal that organized lots of our wedding details which helped immensely with planning. The staff were very helpful with any questions we had. The food for the rehearsal dinner, wedding night, and brunch were all fantastic. They went above and beyond what most people expect when attending a wedding. Many people told us it was the best food they’ve had at a wedding. In fact, many people told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to! (We agree) A side note, we were worried about guests finding accommodations for the wedding, but everyone had a pretty easy time finding AirBNBs/local bed and breakfasts really close by. When we got engaged and started planning our wedding, we heard many people say your wedding is “just one day,” but it really is much more than that: it's the months of planning leading up to it and all the times you think back on it in the years to come too. We really enjoyed doing all the wedding planning with Blenheim's help and the wedding weekend was perfect. We will cherish the memories of our wedding for the rest of our lives. We’re sad that it's over, but if you want to invite us to your wedding so we can go back, we accept!”

“We recently had our wedding at Vanderbilt Lakeside. Henrietta was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. She was always so responsive and helpful. She was so organized and answered any question we had. The weekend itself was truly a dream wedding for us. The space was amazing to host all of our close friends for the weekend. The space is so detailed orientated and beautiful with so much thought put into it. The chef, Matt, is amazing and we got so many compliments on the food. Specially the steak- which was cooked perfectly. The drinks were delicious and easy to get for guests. Henrietta made sure my parents had food as well and went out of her way to make sure our families were taken care of. I truly can’t recommend Vanderbilt enough. We had a larger guest count for the space at 128 guests and did a cocktail style wedding. There was plenty of food and they nailed the set up of it. It was such a unique and fun experience!”

“I highly recommend the Berkshires Black Abbey as a venue for your next special event. I recently attended a relative’s wedding there, and it was truly unforgettable. This beautifully restored church blends historic charm with modern elegance. The moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere took my breath away. The space is both expansive and intimate, with exceptional acoustics that enhanced every word and note. A grand piano added a lovely touch, filling the space with soft, elegant music. The original stained glass windows, preserved during the renovation, bathe the room in beautiful natural light, creating a magical ambiance. Outdoor amenities are equally thoughtful. There’s ample parking, and the large paved area outside easily accommodated food trucks and other vendors brought in by the couple. Nestled in the scenic Berkshires, the Abbey offers guests not only a stunning venue but also access to the area's natural beauty and local attractions. “We had the most amazing time at Diamond Mills Hotel! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is wonderful to work with. My husband and I also loved exploring Saugerties! Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! I used some rental decorations, and the staff made sure to carefully pack everything at the end of the night, so shipping and packing up the following day was easy! We highly recommend Diamond Mills!”

“Jim and Sarah of Black Walnut Farm have created a haven for love. Every inch of their 34 acres is carefully curated for a truly magical experience. As Matt and I approached our forest ceremony enclave, filled with our loved ones, the happy tears were instant thanks to their attention to detail. We chose Black Walnut Farm, after exploring numerous venues, because of their perfectly decorated barn complete with 4 foot disco ball, manicured gardens, equally charming farmhouse to stay the weekend with family, smore station, popcorn machine, audio guestbook, and of course their property manager, Miss Lily, the barn cat. What we didn’t expect to be included in our wedding package was the amount of care, energy, support, and love we felt from Jim, Sarah, and the staff at Black Walnut Farm as they effortlessly managed the most memorable day of our lives. Thank you for making our dreams come true and for being the best wedding venue we could ask for! There is no place like Black Walnut Farm.”

“We absolutely loved having our wedding at Windham Manor in the fall! The property is stunning, and the views are gorgeous, especially in the early autumn. We got married in the Enchanted Forest, had cocktail hour on the lawn, and our reception in the barn. Everything flowed seamlessly and with 110 guests, the layout was perfect. Although Windham is a small town, it’s easy for guests to find places to stay and things to explore. We did our rehearsal dinner in town and hosted our Sunday brunch at the on-site house. Susan and Barry were wonderful, checking in with us and giving us time to settle in on Thursday. They also offered a variety of decor items such as candles, vases, runners, etc., which made setting up our reception easy and stress-free. We stayed with our wedding party at the house onsite and this really helped make our weekend extra special. We loved having our wedding party with us to hang out and catch up, and to facilitate our after party. Our house manager, Karen, was incredible. She was extremely thoughtful, attentive, and always anticipating what we needed. She checked in throughout the day with even small things like water, coffee, or food. She helped the weekend feel calm and effortless. From the moment we first visited, we knew Windham Manor was our number one choice and it did not disappoint!”

“I cannot speak highly enough about our experience hosting our wedding at The Curtis House by Gloriosa & Co. My husband and I got married a couple of weeks ago (September 2024) and our wedding was truly one the happiest, best days of our lives thanks to the love and personalization that Gloria and Emma put into planning and executing our day. We were drawn to so many things about the venue, including the charming setting of Ashfield, the rustic but modernized aesthetic of the barn, the beautiful gardens and greenhouse, and the house being an available space to get ready. We were also drawn to the convenience and uniqueness of being able to provide our floral arrangements from Gloria’s greenhouse and gardens on-site, and having all of the food and beverages taken care of through the venue’s catering and bar team. But what made us decide to book this venue for our special day was the attention that Gloria and Emma give each couple. This venue is not your typical wedding factory that puts on weddings multiple times a week, every week of the year; Gloria and Emma host between 12-15 weddings per year and consequently each couple they work with gets full access to the venue the weekend of their wedding and so much guidance during the planning process. We were able to cultivate a vegetarian menu consisting of so many of our favorite foods plus a number of signature dishes of the venue, such as a butternut squash galette that was a crowd favorite. Sustainability is also incredibly important to us as a couple, and Gloria and Emma are committed to sourcing only local, seasonal ingredients for the food and florals and minimizing waste, which meant so much to us. In terms of decor and furnishings, the venue has so much available for couples to use, such as tables, chairs, ceremony benches, several wedding arches to choose from, displays for food or guest favors, tableware, candles, string lights, and more. We did not have to rent or coordinate anything other than the few DIY projects we made, which Gloria and Emma effortlessly integrated into the set up for us. Being able to take care of practically everything through Gloria and Emma made planning so much simpler. On the wedding day, Gloria, Emma, and their team handled the venue set up in a few hours, which happened like a choreographed dance that required practically no work from us or our wedding parties other than providing input and approval along the way. Everything went extremely smoothly and we were able to be fully present. After our ceremony, my husband and I returned to the house, where Gloria had set up champagne and a spread of our hors d'oeuvres for us to enjoy over a few minutes of privacy, which is something she had recommended we do as we took in the moment together. Our guests have had nothing but positive things to say about our wedding and it was clear the day of how much fun everyone had. We have received so many compliments about how beautiful and authentic the venue was, how exquisite Gloria’s floral arrangements were, how delicious all of the food was (even the heavy meat-eaters loved the vegetarian menu), and how this will be a wedding they will always remember. Gloria made us feel like part of her family and we were so happy to be able to support her business. We truly could not have asked for a more memorable, personalized, loving, and beautiful wedding, and hope that many other couples have the pleasure of getting married at this special place.”

“My wife and I came to them on short notice and with a lot of stress due to the time/money expenses of planning the big day. Renee was unfailingly kind, endlessly patient and always upbeat. Putting it simply, the crew at Adena are wonderful people who are very good at their job. The day itself went off without a single hiccup. Every typical issue that we encountered - such as delays on our part, or things I forgot- was handled before I even fully aware of it. They did their jobs calmly and joyfully, and helped reassure my anxious wife (and my surprisingly anxious self). The location is absolutely beautiful, maintained expertly and decorated perfectly. Our reception was elegant and rustic, with clear views of the blue sky outside making a very pretty backdrop to celebration. The Wooded Cathedral was where we had our reception, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s dreamed of an outdoor wedding in the country. My wife and I are so happy that we switched venues to Adena. We’re thrilled that they’ve left us with these memories, and we are so happy to call the team at Adena friends. Thank you guys for helping us start a marriage on the highest possible note.”

“When we first booked Glen Sanders, someone told my mother that Glen Sanders runs like a well-oiled wedding machine. They were spot on. Glen Sanders knows weddings. Every vendor was thrilled to hear we were working with them. They made the entire process so easy, so clear. Maki, our bridal attendant, was INCREDIBLE. She greeted us off the bus with our champagne flutes, made sure I was hydrated all during photos, helped me with my dress, and brought me down my sneakers at the reception, among many other things. Glen Sanders also sets up all of your cocktail hour Hors d'œuvres in a separate room for you to eat before going to your reception, and it was the moment my husband and I needed to catch our breath and feel "present" for the rest of the night. People often say their wedding was a blur, but we remember every detail thanks to that moment to pause. As for the venue itself, all of our guests still talk about how great of a setup it was. We got ready on-site (groomsmen downstairs, bridesmaids upstairs, MOG got her hair done in the salon downstairs), our cocktail hour outside and on the enclosed porch, the reception in the ballroom, our after party in the basement bar (Speak-easy vibes!), and then we stayed up with close friends and siblings around the fire until the early hours before going to sleep in our rooms on-site! Glen Sanders is certainly a one-stop shop for everything, and their product is unparalleled. Thank you, GSM team, for the best night of our lives! -Elaina and Bill”

“We had the most epic wedding weekend at Onteora Mountain House earlier this month. The team at Onteora truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we toured the venue (in the middle of January with no leaves on the trees might I add) we immediately knew we wanted to get married there.  We met Josh & Dylan and from the get go we could tell how thoughtful and organized they were.  We got the chance to try some delicious hors d'oeuvres (good food is so important to us), toured the accommodations, reception space, and finally the ceremony area outside where the view gave us chills.  We booked almost 2 years ahead so when we visited for our tasting, we were completely validated by our decision to book Onteora.  The food did not disappoint. We planned the wedding without the help of a planner (across the country as we moved to CA from the northeast shortly after getting engaged) and I was immediately put to ease after our 1 month planning call (but I’ll tell you the team was super responsive whenever I had questions along the way & it made the planning process truly enjoyable).  Dylan & Mercy answered all of our questions before we had to ask and they made the month leading up to the wedding stress-free. We loved that we could stay on the property with our immediate family & we were thrilled to check-in Thursday & stay the entire weekend in the beautiful Catskills right around peak fall! We decided to also host our rehearsal dinner on the property and we’re so glad we did, as it set an amazing tone for what was to come on our big day.  We had incredible BBQ food & the ambiance was perfect.  Josh/Dylan/Mercy set the space up exactly as requested & the night was perfectly timed. The space is so cozy, the views are breathtaking, and our guests felt at home. On our wedding day, we were able to be care-free, relax, and truly take it all in because we were able to trust the Onteora team to bring our vision to life and coordinate the day flawlessly ( our vendors were all so amazing).  Everything was on schedule & it was so cool to get to experience our day, get married surrounded by our closest people, and see everything come together so perfectly.  So many of our guests were asking us how we found Onteora & could not stop talking about how beautiful it was.  We also got so many comments about how amazing the team was, how on top of everything they were, and how delicious the food was.  We had many personal touches and not one thing was missed in the set-up.  I’m shocked saying this, but nothing went wrong and I truly think that’s due to how experienced this team is.  I was obsessed with the ambiance of our reception space. (Another perk was I wanted real candles & Onteora allowed them.  My mom & I thrifted brass candlesticks over the course of a year.  I envisioned a romantic vibe & that was certainly achieved.)  The dance floor was packed all night too!  We had our after party on-site with walking tacos & were able to just chill & decompress with our closest friends before calling it a night. We loved every element of the weekend and had an unforgettable experience.  Planning so far in advance, there were definitely times when you second guess spending money on a wedding, but after the experience we had, we have 0 regrets and will always look back at the amazing wedding weekend we had.  We wouldn’t change one thing. His easygoing and responsive nature made the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable. Whenever we had a question, Neil was always there, ready with an answer. “One of the most beautiful things that came out of the weekend was watching our friends become friends with each other. People who had been complete strangers before our wedding are now flying to visit each other without even needing us to be there. What more could you ask for? The Maples gave everyone the space to relax, connect, laugh, and actually be together for an entire weekend - and that is something we never could have created anywhere else. What makes The Maples even more special is the community Katie has built around it. The relationships she has formed with people throughout the town and upstate are priceless, and they became such an important part of our wedding experience. These aren't just vendors on a preferred-vendor list—they are incredible people who genuinely care. We sent our wedding guests to Middleburgh Coffee Company during the weekend for coffee, and the owner, Dasha, hand-delivered honey from her bees to us the day after our wedding as a thank-you. In what world does that happen?! Rob from Rob's Roasts sent bags of coffee to our apartment before the wedding so we could taste different roasts and choose what we wanted. Brian from the Dumpling Wagon let us sample everything during one of our planning meetings with Katie. Paloma, our florist, absolutely blew us away - we were genuinely speechless the first time we saw what she had created at the reception, and Katie's vision for the pavilion was pure magic. And the care didn't stop when the wedding started. Our bar stayed open an extra 15 minutes just for us. At our family croquet party and welcome party the day before, Richard from Bars Without Boundaries stayed open for the entire time, foregoing our scheduled 3 hour break and would literally come out and hand-deliver drinks to us in the middle of a croquet game. Our photographer, Shelby, stayed an entire extra hour because she wanted to capture our T-shirt toss and sent us previews that same night. These little things might sound small, but they are exactly what made the entire weekend feel so unbelievably special. We had so many guests tell us that it was the best and most authentic wedding they had ever attended. That word - authentic - means so much to us because that was exactly what we wanted. We wanted a wedding that felt like us, and Katie somehow understood that from our very first conversation. We would not change a single thing. If you are considering The Maples Estate, choose it. Choose Katie and Louis. You will have the most beautiful, joyful, completely personal wedding imaginable, and you will get to actually enjoy every second of it. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Our wedding weekend was truly utter magic, and we will be forever grateful to Katie, Louis, their incredible team, and the entire community they've built around The Maples for giving us the best weekend of our lives.”

“I cannot recommend this venue more! Not only is it beautiful on the inside but Bryce and Courtney who help run the show put in so much time, effort, and energy into making it the best day you could imagine! After our initial meeting with Bryce it was a no-brainer to go with Novella’s. They were the only venue that said yes to all of our requests and let us make the wedding more catered to us as a couple (DIY stirrers, signage, centerpieces, etc.). They only do 1 wedding a day so you are their main focus for the duration of your day. He will answer your emails, texts, and set up meetings with you if you ask! He also added some ideas we wouldn’t have thought of and walked us through the timeline and process with our goals in mind. Our family/friend’s raved about the food during cocktail hour and dinner. Good portions and great quality! As the bride, I felt they ran a tight ship with no hiccups in sight and were easy to find if I had any questions. My guests said it was a true hidden gem that they didn’t know about but loved! They also have a deal with the local Pastry Garden to give you a custom cake included in the venue cost! The venue is within walking feet of a local hotel who are fabulous to work with and Bryce also let us use the outdoor patio for an amazing after party! Truly just good people to work with and SO easy to trust!”
