“Original Weddings truly outdid themselves when it came to capturing our day — both in photo and video form! We opted for two photographers and one videographer, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We were initially told to expect our photos and videos within 4–6 months, but to our surprise, we received everything in less than two weeks after the wedding! Our lead photographer, Steve (or Steven), was wonderful — full of energy, creative, and so intentional with every shot he took. Aspen, our second photographer, perfectly captured all the little details and candid moments we might have missed. It was such a gift to see the empty room and venue shots that we didn’t get to take in during the day. Our videographer, Win (apologies if I’ve spelled that incorrectly), was equally amazing. He captured the joy, the laughter, and all the meaningful speeches that we’ll cherish forever. Original Weddings exceeded every expectation, and we highly recommend them. After researching and comparing multiple vendors, we found their pricing and quality to be unmatched. We loved working with them — and if we could re-hire them, we absolutely would!”

“Darcy was an absolute pleasure to work with and we LOVE our photos. She truly captured the emotions of the day and the essence of all the people we love the most. Any time i look at our photos, i find myself involuntarily smiling. She captured the classic posed photos AND the precious in-between moments where people are being their most authentic selves (the face my dad makes when he's really intently listening, the hand gestures my mom uses when she's explaining something and can't find the right words, the face my mother in law makes when she's cracking herself up, the face my father in law makes right before the tears fall, and so so many more). Not ONLY are her photos amazing, but she made us feel so relaxed on the day-of. Her style is totally unobtrusive, which is just what we needed. Darcy got such amazing photos of all our guests we put 4x6" prints in our thank you cards and people were SO appreciative. She's on fridges across America. Comments we've gotten in response to Darcy's photos: "WOW your photographer is phenomenal", "this is the best photo of us in existence", "you guys look so happy!", "I feel like the photographer really captured your personalities" If capturing joy is important to you, hire Darcy. “Georgette was amazing. We vibes right away because she was so enthusiastic and friendly. She checked in regular, was on time for every call and even reached out to remind me that we should check in. She wished me a happy wedding day the morning of and even the week before. Our pictures are beyond beautiful. I’m really so happy with all of them. The lighting was perfect. My only problem is picking photos to frame because there are too many beautiful ones. She blended right in with our wedding party, jumping in to help with my dress buttons and all! “After friends shared a photo of my then fiance and me at their own wedding, we hired the photographer who took it. This was Nina! That one photo inspired us to review the gallery of their entire wedding and then her portfolio and we were blown away. 7 months later our own wedding day arrived. My husband and I are the type of people who are wildly present and constantly forget to take photographs of our life together. We knew we wanted to capture this day without the photography becoming a chore or hindering our ability to do what we do best and enjoy our time. “Wow can’t say enough amazing things about this photographer, he truly was one of the highlights of our wedding. Don’t walk to book him run! He was super focused, detail orientated, bilingual, fun and laid back. He captured so many incredible behind the scene moments and my family kept saying we didn’t even see him take that picture. We were nervous about not knowing how to pose. He made us so comfortable and had amazing poses. He captured intimate moments of our families reactions during the ceremony, speeches and partying. He helped the day flow so well and we couldn’t believe how amazing the pictures were. The turn around time for the pictures was also super fast. We had a bad experience with a photographer prior who ended up being a scammer and he truly saved our wedding day!! Thank you!”

“Lindsay and I go way back; 4th grade to be exact. I was the new girl in a new school - and so was she! We bonded over this shared experience and became friends. Fast forward to 2019. Lindsay and I had lost touch because we’d both moved around quite a bit, but we stayed in touch through social media. And how serendipitous that turned out to be! Both Lindsay and I ended up in Virginia, only a few miles from one another. She started her photography business, Lindsay King Photography, with her husband, Greg, in Arlington and it just so happened that my sister was looking for a wedding photographer who would travel outside the country. “We worked with Anji and Pete for both our wedding and engagement photography and I absolutely could not be happier. As someone who gets very nervous in front of a camera, I was worried about photography. They both took the time to get to know us and to put us at ease, especially in posed situations. We wanted the photographs to feel like us: joyful, silly, colorful, and exuberant...not like a generic wedding magazine. They chose a fabulous location for the engagement shoot (gardens outside the Smithsonian castle). “The minute my fiancée and I found Chris (via a wedding photog friend who was unavailable for our date) I told him that I was a former wedding vendor myself, I know how the sausage gets made, and I just wanted him to be real with me. He totally got that and took it to heart. He went above and beyond to help us sort out another photog for part of our wedding experience when some of our plans had to change and I really appreciated his communication throughout the process. He made it fun and was easy to work with, was amenable to capturing my preferred "good side" and ending up sending us some truly amazing photos. I'm not the world's most photogenic person, and he did such a great job of sorting through snaps of (what I assume were) hundreds of double chins and closed eyes - he sent us a set of final photos in which I felt like I looked pretty in every single one and our joy just really shines through. 10 out of 10, would hire again!”
