My name is Gabrielle but I go by Gabby. Middle name, Grayce, with a “y”. I grew up with a disposable camera constantly in hand and when I got my first digital camera, it was filled with photos of blades of grass and flowers. I married my best friend in 2019 on a cold April day in Iowa. It was 36 degrees and sleeting….and the ceremony was outdoors. It’s Iowa, what did we expect? We recently added a new tiny human to our family, Asher Grae. He’s the sweetest little buddy and we can’t imagine what life would be without him. I started photography as a hobby but have found so much passion in documenting the lives of the most amazing couples.

I'm Alissa. a 21 year old wedding photographer whose planted her roots in the midwest, the coziest place in the states. I always wanted to be an art teacher, something that would let me express my creativity everyday, went to college to be just that.. yeah didn’t work out. it wasn’t enough, i knew it wasn’t for me so randomly, i considered photography. never picked up a camera in my life but suddenly had a firey passion to be a photographer? unheard of. my mom was like alissa, you’re out of your mind. she probably grew some grey hair from my sudden choice to switch my major.

Born and raised a Husker in small town Nebraska but currently residing in Iowa. After years of thinking about pursuing photography I finally took the leap into making my dream and passion a reality, and man do I love it! Photography aside, I am a big family person. I’m Haverlee, (hay-verlee), solo parent of three wild things. My photography career was birthed from many years of pain. My life derailed and everything felt unstable and uncertain. The more difficult things became, the more I clung to small moments of beauty. When things felt dark, I clung to the light. And I could always find light in people and in nature. Focusing on others instead of my own dark days brought me joy every time without fail. I always knew I was creative but it took me a while to find my niche! As I ventured into photography, everything fell into place. It was as if I already knew the language, I just had to find the words.
