With experience of over 200 weddings, Peridot & Lace is a wedding photography and videography team located in Central IA with. We have a team of 7 photographers and videographers ready to capture your most special day. From getting ready, to detail photos, ceremony, couple photos, reception and everything else a wedding entails - we truly love what we do and are so passionate about creating your photos and videos perfect to your day.

What sets us apart is that we offer not only photography, but also videography. We have photo only, video only and photo and video together packages. Within these 3 packages, we have multiple packages - this way you can pick the perfect package to fit your day.

    Excellent photo and video team

    Blake and I were so grateful we chose Peridot & Lace for our wedding photo and video team. Their staff is so on top of communication! They asked us all the photo/timeline questions we didn’t even know to ask, to best prepare months in advance for our wedding day. And were also quick to respond to any last minute requests/questions as the wedding day came closer. We worked with Kirsten for our engagement photos and on our wedding day- could not say enough kind words. She was detail oriented and had the best energy to keep us feeling relaxed and comfortable behind the camera. We were able to fully enjoy our wedding day with full confidence that the P&L team would get all the shots we wanted. We have hundreds of beautiful photos and great video coverage that perfectly captured us and the emotions of our wedding day. So glad we decided to include video in our package. Editing was super timely with getting sneak peaks the day after, as well as getting full photos and videos digitally not long after that. Would recommend P&L to any couples.

    Engagement Photos and Wedding Photos

    I am so glad we went with Peridot & Lace for our wedding! The entire team was responsive and eager to help us plan every detail leading up to our big day. Our engagement photos and wedding day coverage turned out better than we could have imagined—the quality was truly exceptional.     Wedding Day

    These ladies made my husband and I’s wedding day so perfect. Corinne, Sara & Bella were our photographers & videographers and I couldn’t have been happier. They made us feel so perfect and comfortable and shooting all of the photos was so easy, it felt like a dream. The ladies are so friendly and encouraging and there’s not a thing I would change. You guys are worth every penny and would always book again for future photos!

    HIGHLY recommend Peridot & Lace

    Would recommend Peridot and Lace over and over again. The entire planning process was smooth and organized and they made the entire day so fun! Their video and photo team coordinate and work together so well- they are truly a team! Have only gotten our sneak peaks (which are AMAZING) but cannot wait to see the rest!!

During your wedding we take THOUSANDS, of photos. We then go one by one and edit all of the good ones that we want to include in your gallery. Expect 500-800 photos in your online gallery. You receive all thousands though by USB.
YES. We will print 100 4x6 photos for you, and will put these in a custom Peridot & Lace wood box, as well as a custom Peridot & Lace USB with all unedited photos. Check out or website for what it looks like! For video, we provide a custom Peridot & Lace USB and mini box, as well as a motion play book with your full film on it!
We are located in Central IA, but dream of all things traveling. We hope to one day have a portfolio full of mountains and beaches!
We do! Just let us know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and we’ll send that over to them.
Yes!! We offer Photography and Videography.
Our turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 90 days after your wedding, but of course we upload a few sneak peaks on the socials so you can share with your family and friends!
Typically, couples book us about 13 months before their wedding date. We encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about our availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. Of course, all photos taken that day (around 3000-5000) will be given to you unedited by USB.
