“Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii, LLC is hands down the reason why we had THE BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES! Yanicke, is the owner of this company and she is hands down the best coordinator! My husband and I hired her to take care of all the stress as we are in California and she is in Honolulu. We booked her and her team to do full coordination for our wedding in Kaneohe, Hawaii. It was one the best decisions we have ever made. We were married at the Paliku Garden at Kualoa Ranch in Kaneohe, Hawaii on June 14, 2023. Almost three years since our wedding and I still cannot believe our dream wedding came to life. I am still on cloud 9 of how beautiful everything was and how smooth everything went. From the first time we spoke with Yanicke, we could tell she was someone who would get it done. I had called Kualoa Ranch to make sure I was able to book her because per the rule of booking Kualoa Ranch, you need a minimum of "day of coordinator". It pleased me to know that she had worked events on the ranch so she did not have to go through an interview process with them. What we loved the most about her is that she actively listened to our wants and our vision for our wedding. She always reassured us that she would work with our budget and not to worry. We would often text, do zoom meetings, and was always available to us. Yanicke made sure to be the contact person for every vendor and made things so easy for us. She gave us vendor options and I appreciated that because I still felt in charge of deciding who to book. The vendors she suggested were so awesome! Every vendor went above and beyond and I am so glad Yanicke had these connections. Our wedding looked amazing and all our guests loved everything about it. There were no issues with any. On the day of the rehearsal, Yanicke went over the setup and how everything was going to play out on the day of the wedding. On the wedding day, Yanicke came to our hotel to check on us and make sure we were up and ready to get the day started. I personally loved that about her because she was very attentive to us. When we arrived at the venue, everything was set to go. It looked so beautiful and dreamy, a dream come true. It looked so elegant and classy. I felt like I was in a dream that whole day because of how surreal it felt. Our wedding should have been featured in a magazine! Our wedding was over the top, in a great way, more than what we had expected. The vendors had surpassed our expectations. From the beginning of the wedding to the end, she was running the event smoothly. I hate planning and having her make sure we were on schedule was so great. The reception included a great buffet, beautiful floral arrangements, an awesome Polynesian performance (fire dancers, hula, the haka dance), a very detailed photographer, and a great DJ and emcee who knew how to get the guests excited. If I were to have another event in Hawaii, I would not hesitate to book Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii, LLC again because they made our wedding such a great experience. Definitely recommend to anyone having a destination wedding. She will provide you a list of her preferred vendors that she trusts and they go above and beyond. She will not disappoint. I guarantee! “Seriously, you need Annie. I am such a type A person that I thought maybe I didn’t need a wedding planner, but from the first consultation with Annie we decided immediately we needed her. She added value from day one, and saved me from making a horrible venue mistake. She knows everyone, all the vendors, and who’s the best fit for you and your wedding vision. What she doesn’t know (which is rare) she figures out - for example, I had a request to have a magician, a friend cleanse the space with sage smudging, and a sound healer at our wedding, and she handled all my unique requests so well and was up for anything. She is very detail oriented and pays attention to everything- all our bills being correct, caught mistakes I made, and paid attention to all my strange requests. Most weddings are full of some strange interpersonal dynamic challenges, and Annie knew exactly how to navigate each one, paid special attention to the dynamic issues with my family and was fully ready and prepped to keep certain people happy and apart. She dealt with last minute changes seamlessly, including a no-show bridesmaid and last minute addition of a flower girl. There is no one I trusted more with my wedding (and at this point my life, I mean, can I keep her?!!) than Annie. On my wedding day and for months leading up to it I knew that whatever happened to go wrong, whatever last minute issues I would have, Annie would handle it and figure it out and I would barely know the difference. And that’s exactly how our day went. She is perfect and I can’t recommend her highly enough. Ps- mango season band was amazing too!!”

“We could not recommend Hawaiian Eye Weddings enough! Leah and her husband Mike are just two brilliant people and they made our wedding extra special! My husband is British and I am from Missouri, and Leah was able to not only organize our wedding, but guided us on where we needed to go to get our marriage certificate and all that we would need for me to immigrate to the UK. She walked us through in our initial meeting once we arrived in Hawaii, the marriage application, filled out for us and just really made us feel so at ease on what to expect on the day. She helped organize the loveliest lady to come to our hotel and do my hair and makeup on the wedding day, and even for flowers for my bouquet and my husband's lapel. She went and got them and delivered them. When you go with Hawaiian Eye, you are choosing someone who knows the island, who uses local islanders for vendors, and who really provides an all around service you would not find anywhere else! Mike did amazing with our photos and wedding video, they are STUNNING! These two people will forever have the warmest space in our hearts for making our special day that much more special! “We worked with Sandra for about a year leading up to our wedding at La Pietra, and truly, we don’t know what we would have done without her. We’re both busy professionals based in SF, so we knew we needed someone in Hawaii who could really take the reins. Sandra was a godsend. The biggest thing for us was that NOTHING fell through the cracks. If we mentioned something once, she remembered it. She was also somehow always calm. Even when we were indecisive, changed our minds, or threw something at her last minute (oops), we never once saw her rattled or annoyed. Special shoutout to Kandis too, who helped coordinate so many details throughout the year! We also loved that Sandra wasn’t afraid to tell us what she thought. We were initially against having a tent because we thought it would ruin the look of the wedding. She ultimately left the decision to us, but made sure we understood the realities of Hawaii weather. We're so glad we listened! It rained the day before, was insanely windy the day of, and the tent ended up being a great decision. Her vendor network was another huge plus. After so many years planning weddings in Hawaii, she knows who’s good. She gave us a handful of trusted options for each vendor, we interviewed and chose who felt right, and we ended up LOVING everyone we hired. They also consistently told us how incredibly “on it” Sandra was. And on the wedding day, we just… enjoyed it. Everything ran so smoothly that we could be fully present. Seeing everything we’d spent a year planning and envisioning finally come to life, even more beautifully than we imagined, was so special. It genuinely felt like the perfect day, and we know it wouldn’t have been possible without Sandra and her team. We’d recommend Sandra a million times over.”

“If you read any review, read this one. For context, I'm a producer, my entire career is planning big scale events, productions, and hiring people. We went through 3 coordinators before finding Tara and it was because I had such a high standard for who I wanted to help me on my wedding day. Tara was, hands down, the best thing that could have happened to us for our wedding. We had multiple setbacks and last minute changes and none of them threw Tara off her step. She was honest with us 100% of the time about what was possible and what wasn't possible. And whenever either of us had concerns, Tara's response was always exactly what we needed to hear. She assured us that everything would work out and she would take care of it and she absolutely did. We did all of the decorations for our wedding ourselves and relied on Tara to set it up and execute our vision. Not only were we both FLOORED walking down the aisle seeing what she had done, it was actually better than we could have ever imagined. Additionally, after the wedding I found out that there was an issue with our credit card that almost prevented the vendor from delivering the items on time - Tara took care of it without telling us (the best thing a wedding coordinator can do) and I really appreciated how it was handled without needing to ask us. I can't say this enough, Tara was the best thing that ever happened to us for our wedding. Truly I don't think we paid her enough. We are so incredibly grateful for what she's done for us and if we were to ever have a huge event in need of planning, I'd hire her in a heartbeat. Stop looking for a coordinator, just hire her. “I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. “Annie from Before You Say I Do was an exceptional day-of-coordinator for our special day. Her communication style was frequent, clear, thoughtful, timely, and she was quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. The quality of her work and the value she provided was excellent-- she is hard-working and was incredibly considerate throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond, offering to bring additional decorations and even showing up the day before to assist with our traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, which was not even on the same day as our official wedding. We had only hired her for her day-of coordination package, but even so, she was a consistent voice and helping hand for us for months leading up to the wedding. I can only imaging if we would have booked her whole wedding planning service, our wedding probably would have somehow been even more perfect than it already was.
