Built on the former site of Tiger Stadium the indoor opened in 2018 and is the home of the Detroit Police Athletic League. Our banquet facility is available for all kinds of events! The historic Featherbone Factory was established by E.K. Warren in 1883. An ardent prohibitionist, Warren revolutionized the manufacturing of ladies’ corsets and buggy whips. The Hopewell Barn is located about 1/2 mile south of the historic Hopewell Church. Built in 1872 and purchased by Deb in 2018, the church is listed on National Historic Register for its ties to Gene Stratton Porter. Gene was a famous author in the early 1900’s and the area of ‘Hopewell’ was used as the locale for the settings for several of her books. The name ‘Rustic Barn at Hopewell’ was selected to pay tribute to historic roots of the Hopewell area.

The barn is a Nucor Steel barn that has been transformed into a Rustic Barn inside with floor to ceiling timber wood siding, horse stalls transformed into a bar, kitchen and modern restrooms, an upper level previous hay mound and storage rooms transformed into a bride and grooms suites. The outside 40 acre farm formerly were horse pastures now transformed into green luscious grass with choices of Arbors for your ceremonies, beautiful ponds, lots of room for parking, with a farm style like ranch gardens and backdrops with woodsy and scenic views for fantastic wedding photos. This is a very relaxing place to just take your shoes off, dance and enjoy the barn that is more than just a barn.

Res-Les Farms is a third generation family owned farm that has evolved many times over the years. We offer over two acres of space for your exclusive use to accommodate any wedding needs, including a private drive and off-road parking. The Grain Barn is a unique metal barn equipped with bulb lighting throughout and a chandelier for an elegant appeal. Step outside into the Corn Crib, a rustic wooden pavilion structure and dance, dine and mingle under this space decorated with draped bulb lighting and chiffon curtains.

We began our journey in 2015 with a dusty gravel pit and vision for a new home. The gem was the stunning 30 acre crystal clear lake. After purchasing the property we found ourselves hosting church activities and work functions as people truly loved being here. Slowly we began adding amenities to the property. First a huge rope swing, (that we have since taken down). It was fun watching the kids fly into the water. Then the 110’ water slide kept all the kids smiling as they splashed into the lake. Then in 2020 our daughter was engaged to a great guy. As she began looking for that special place to host her wedding we came to realize that it was right here. We wanted it to be a very special place and we went to work.

Red Ribbon Hall is a historic landmark building located in the heart of Eaton Rapids! Dating back to 1878, the building was affiliated with the "Red Ribbon Movement". The interior has recently undergone some refreshing renovations to help bring a modern feel to the historic building. There are three different areas available for utilization: the upstairs, downstairs, and an outside location. The upstairs houses a theater styled hall, a bridal suite, a grooms room, and two restrooms. The theater styled hall consists of a stage lining the back wall and elevated theater style seating along the side walls. The downstairs houses male & female restrooms, a kitchen available for catering, and a reception hall. Round tables and chairs are provided along with their set up and tear down. There is also an outside location available upon request. An individual will be on-site for supervision. Renowned “movie palace” architect C. Howard Crane designed Detroit’s historic Garden Theater, a commission he earned after he opened his own firm in Detroit in 1908. In addition to the Garden Theater, Crane has 250 theaters to his credit, 62 of which were built in Detroit, like The Majestic, The Fox, Orchestra Hall, the Detroit Opera House, and The Fillmore Detroit. One of the city’s earliest neighborhood theaters, the Garden Theater opened to the public in 1912. With its 900-seat capacity, it was one of the largest theaters built outside downtown; it originally hosted live stage shows and motion pictures. As the name implies, Crane cleverly incorporated vines, birds and other garden-style decorations in its design to immerse patrons in an outdoor-like experience.
