    The Wedding Of Our Dreams!

    Where to start! If I could give more stars I would!! My spouse and I have been together for over 20 years and we wanted our fairy-tail wedding. Well we had it! We love the outdoors and feeling like we are up north! The moment we saw Twisted Roots, it screamed US!! The owners of the venue made it a spectacular day from start to finish. When I say start, I mean from the initial call. We were able to come out to do multiple site visits with our wedding party, family members, and our vendors. Erica and Jeffrey made us feel at home every time we stopped by! There offered suggestions and also were very open to ideas we threw their way. We were able to come in the day before the wedding to do an early set up and the day after our event to do our pick ups. This flexibility allowed us the wiggle room to just focus on the day itself. The venue setting is breathtaking!! We had our wedding under the pergola with a tent brought in for the reception. The venue offered a wonderful bridal suite, a grand room for also getting ready in, restrooms, outdoor electricity for our DJ, and lighting. Top that off with a bonfire!! If you are looking for a stunning unique venue, and you want to work with people who care about your special day, I recommend checking this location out!! Absolutely! We welcome you to arrange your own food vendors for your event. Please ensure that all food vendors have the necessary licenses and insurance. We have a designated staging area available for caterers. If needed, we can provide you with a list of preferred vendors upon request.
We do not offer bar services directly. However, your caterer may offer these services. Please note that all alcohol must be served by a licensed and insured bartender. We can provide you with our list of preferred bartending vendors to assist you in making arrangements.
Our venue can accommodate up to 150 guests, ensuring an intimate and memorable experience for your event.
We have limited parking space available, allowing a maximum of 15 cars to remain on the property. To ensure convenience for your guests, we offer shuttle services. The location of parking will be determined during our consultation to optimize accessibility.
Absolutely! We encourage your creativity and allow you to bring your own decorations. Our dedicated staff will set up your tables, chairs, and linens on the morning of your event. For weekend packages, we offer day-of setup assistance. However, please note that all decorations must be cleaned up by Sunday at 11 am. What time does the event have to end? The event must conclude by 11 pm. We recommend having the last call around 10:30 pm, and all guests must depart by 12:00 am.
We kindly ask that all trash and decorations be removed from the tent by 11 am on the Sunday following the event. Our team will handle the disposal of the trash, as well as the breakdown of tables and chairs. If you prefer, we offer a cleanup service for a fee of $500.00. ​
Yes, we require each vendor to carry their own insurance to ensure a smooth and secure event experience.
To secure your event date, we require a signed contract, a non-refundable deposit of 25%, and a credit card on file. The remaining balance must be paid in full 30 days prior to the event date. Please note that deposits are non-refundable.
Legal Information - Twisted Roots Gardens Event Insurance Requirement: To ensure the safety and protection of all parties involved, we require a comprehensive event insurance policy with a minimum coverage of $1 million. Twisted Roots Gardens should be listed as the additional insured party on the policy. The approximate cost for such coverage is approximately $240. Sales Tax: Please note that in accordance with Michigan state regulations, a 6% sales tax will be applied in addition to the venue rental fees. Pricing and Terms: We strive to maintain transparency and fairness.
