About this venue
Record Box Loft is a wedding venue located on the riverfront in downtown Battle Creek. Our original hardwood floors, exposed brick and open floorplan flooded with natural light gives our space an urban, industrial vibe that’s perfect for a party. After an extensive restoration of this historic building, built in 1902, it was rebranded as Record Box Loft to pay homage to its historic roots. Once known as the Record Printing and Box Company, cereal boxes were printed here for many years in the cereal capital of the world. Record Box Loft accommodates small groups of 25 up to large gatherings of 225 guests. Many onsite amenities are provided including onsite preparation rooms, wooden farmhouse tables, industrial chairs, an onsite catering prep kitchen and bar. We are located in southwest Michigan, approximately halfway between Chicago and Detroit and conveniently close to our surrounding communities including Kalamazoo, Jackson, Lansing and Grand Rapids.

Magical Wedding Venue!
Hannah and her team were absolutely incredible from start to finish. From the moment we booked our wedding, through the entire planning process, and all the way to the execution on our wedding day, they exceeded every expectation. Hannah was always there to answer questions, offer guidance, and provide reassurance whenever we needed it. Wedding planning can feel overwhelming at times, but she made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free. Her communication, organization, and attention to detail were outstanding, and it was clear every step of the way that she genuinely cared about making our day special. When our wedding day finally arrived, everything came together perfectly. Hannah and her team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every detail was handled, allowing us to truly enjoy every moment. The day felt effortless because of the incredible work they put in. I truly do not think our wedding day would have been as magical if we had chosen a different venue. Hannah helped bring our vision to life and created an experience that we, along with our family and friends, will never forget. From the moment we walked into record loft box and met Hannah I knew this was our wedding venue. The space is absolutely stunning from the large windows to the exposed brick I fell in love. Instantly Hannah was friendly outgoing, incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to understand my vision and help guide me through every detail from start to finish on our wedding date Hannah and her staff handled the entire venue set up and everything was as I had imagined seeing my vision come to life was truly breathtaking. Wedding of our dreams
From the moment we stepped into Record Box Loft the first time, we knew it was where we wanted to have our wedding. The venue itself is so beautiful, tastefully decorated and well thought out for hosting a wedding start to finish. The beauty of the venue left us with very little we had to do for decorating! Our experience working with Hannah was incredible! She is an excellent communicator, has great ideas for each detail, she is patient and calm, and helped bring our vision to life. She coordinated details with each of our vendors, taking a huge burden off of our shoulders! The day of our wedding was a dream! Hannah and her team were available for every need, took care of every detail, checked in frequently, and made everything seem so easy! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, our wedding day was better than we dreamed possible!

Record Box Loft was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the start, their communication was always on point - Hannah and the team were incredibly responsive and made sure we were informed every step of the way. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with greenery and natural light that created such a beautiful, intimate atmosphere. We hardly needed to add any additional decor since the space was already so visually appealing. On the day of the wedding, Hannah and the team went above and beyond, even giving my bridesmaids pep talks before they walked down the aisle.
