Looking for the perfect place to host your dream wedding? The Jackson County Tower building could be just what you're looking for! Located in the heart of downtown Jackson the County Tower Building was built in 1929 by Detroit architect Albert Kahn. Originally built as the Union and Peoples National Bank the second floor is where the tellers were located. The second floor ballroom was renovated in 2021 and opened in October. The 4,800 square foot space is a one of a kind space that is perfect for celebrating your special events! This unique design creates a stunning setting for wedding receptions, private parties, and corporate events for as many as 200 seated guests. Our knowledgeable and professional staff looks forward to working with you on your next event! We will work together to accommodate your needs.

    Beautiful Wedding Location

    I rented the ballroom for both my wedding ceremony and reception; with around 100 guests, we were easily able to have the ceremony and then dancing on one side of the ballroom, and the food and tables on the other side of the ballroom. All the guests loved the look of the ballroom, and it's beautiful in our wedding photos. The people running the ballroom were always very responsive and helpful when I had questions, and the renting process was straightforward and seamless. The downsides of the space are just that it doesn't have a kitchen, or any designated area to get ready. But if you know that going in and plan around those difficulties, it's a beautiful location for any event.

    Gorgeous Prom Setting

    The team at Tower Ballroom was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Their communication was fast, attentive, and extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself is open, elegant, and versatile - the perfect backdrop for our Prom. Tower Ballroom's centralized location and beautiful atmosphere made it the ideal choice for our 2025 Prom. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and we highly recommend.

For a flat rate of $3,800, you'll enjoy exclusive access to the ballroom the day before your event for up to 9 hours, full-day access on the day of your celebration from 10 AM to midnight, as well as round and rectangle tables, gold Chiavari chairs, and linens.
You’ll have access to the space from 8 AM to 5 PM the day before your event, with additional time available upon request. On the day of your event, the venue is yours from 10 AM until midnight. Please note that all cleanup must be completed and the space vacated by midnight.

Yes, convenient parking is available directly behind the building. Additional options include street parking and a small lot located just across the street in front of the Tower Building.
The Tower Ballroom doesn’t have a liquor license, so your party will need to supply the alcohol. A licensed bartender is required to serve it, and all drinks must be offered as an open bar.
Yes, you will need $1,000,000 of liability insurance.
The date-hold deposit is non-refundable. No refunds of the space rental fees will be paid within twenty-five (25) days prior to an event.
