Wonderful Townsend Experience
We had a wonderful experience at The Townsend Hotel as part of our wedding weekend celebrations. From start to finish, Ashley and the entire team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They were attentive, proactive, and genuinely committed to making sure every detail was taken care of—not only for us, but for our families, planning team, and guests as well. Leading up to the weekend, Ashley made herself available for multiple planning meetings, including additional time with our families and, importantly, close coordination with our planning team. Even though our reception was held off-site, the team at The Townsend worked closely with our planners to manage shuttle logistics, ensure all weekend events were timed smoothly, and handle many of the moving pieces that made the weekend feel seamless for our guests. The hotel also served as the location for our welcome party and as home base for our bridal party, with suites for both the bridesmaids and groomsmen. The facilities were elegant, clean, and perfectly suited to our needs. Catering was delivered on time and exactly as planned. Our guests consistently commented on how much they enjoyed their stay—the accommodations were comfortable, well-appointed, and made for a relaxing and luxurious experience. Behind the scenes, the team was incredibly thoughtful—from making sure all gift bags were delivered to the right rooms, to handling countless details we never had to worry about. Their attention to detail and commitment to service helped make the weekend a true success. We’re so grateful to The Townsend for playing such a meaningful role in our wedding weekend. It was a seamless and professional experience from start to finish, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for any couple planning a wedding or special event in the area

We had a wonderful wedding weekend at the Townsend! They made everything so easy for us and fulfilled every request we had. They were well organized and had fantastic communication! Everyone on their staff was extremely helpful to make sure our weekend was perfect.

We had the most incredible wedding weekend at The Townsend Hotel! From start to finish, the experience was truly exceptional. We hosted several events on-site, including our welcome party and post-wedding brunch, and every detail was handled with care and professionalism. The entire planning process was above and beyond — the staff made us feel so welcome and supported every step of the way. They were responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our weekend special. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the hotel — from the elegant accommodations to the outstanding service, everyone complimented us on what a great choice we made for the hotel block. The food was also amazing! Every bite, from the hors d’oeuvres at the welcome party to the brunch buffet, was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We’re so grateful to The Townsend for playing such an important role in our big weekend — we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend to any couple planning their wedding.
