The Main Event Space includes an adjacent custom built-in bar with additional bar stool seating, providing plenty of space for dining and dancing. It boasts a wide variety of amenities including; overhead string lighting, reclaimed wood walls, a soft seating lounge area, plant terrariums and bespoke furniture - all included in the space! Bar packages also include all glassware, supplies, service & ice. *Bar timeline is based on standard 5-hour event. *22% service fee, sales tax and gratuity are additional. *Additional staffing fee applies to events under 80 guests. *Weekend bar packages include Welcome Cocktail hour with (2) pre-selected Batch Cocktails.

Unique Venue in Downtown Ferndale!
My husband and I live down the street in Hazel Park and we frequent the Rust Belt often! I am obsessed with every single local shop and love the holiday markets and events they do throughout the year. When we decided to elope and have a reception at home for family and friends, there was only one place that came to mind--The Rust Belt! It already has such a unique atmosphere and design about it that decorating came so easily! We did everything ourselves (I'm a very DIY person), all the vendors we worked with and the event coordinator (Julie) were so kind and helpful! The day went perfectly and we are so happy we chose The Rust Belt Market to have our reception.
1 year Anniversary
The Rust Belt offered a great atmosphere and aesthetic for our party! Having the shops open for the first hour of the event was great, and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Julie was a great help in answering all our questions in a timely and comprehensive manner, and was incredibly attentive on the night of the party, checking in with our needs throughout the event. The staff working the bar were great and had no difficulty serving over 120 drinks throughout the night, offering amazing cocktails and seasonal selections of beer and mixers.

The Rust Belt Market was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was timely, thorough, and incredibly clear, putting us at ease throughout the entire planning process. On the day of, the team checked on us frequently during our ceremony, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The venue itself was intimate, gorgeous, and completely unique - a true hidden gem. We were able to get amazing photos in their gorgeous green room, which was a wonderful space for us to relax and prepare. The Rust Belt Market exceeded our expectations in every way and we are so grateful for the role they played in making our special day truly unforgettable.

What a place! Julie at Rust Belt is by far the best vendor I have worked with across three weddings. She is professional, proactive and responsive, doing everything she can to make our vision a reality. Her staff made the event seamless, leaving us to enjoy the evening with our guests. And the venue sets up so nicely for a party. It's open but with separate areas for the bar and dinner, giving ample room for people to move around and socialize. It couldn't have been a nicer experience.
