My husband and I got married at Meyer's Castle in early November, 2025. It was the most beautiful day ever, no matter that it was cold and rainy! We first fell in love with the venue when we toured in August 2024, and then after seeing a few other venues we went back to Meyer's for another tour and booked it. Everyone was so excited about the venue and still talks about it. Our coordinator Eva was a rock star on the day of the wedding! She was so helpful in reassuring me and getting me answers leading up to the wedding, but nothing can surpass how amazing she was on the day off. She took care of everything! She managed problems without me having to even hear them, she advocated for us, she helped decorate, and made us feel seen and taken care of. It began to rain shortly before the ceremony time and she made sure we got the idyllic outdoor ceremony of our dreams, and had umbrellas on hand as needed. She was there for the entire day and my sister couldn't stop singing her praises! We loved our wedding so much and highly recommend Meyer's Castle and Eva! Our photographer said the venue was a photographers dream, we got compliments on the food, and everyone had a great time! A day I would happily revisit anytime.

We had an amazing experience with the Sculpture Garden at Bridgeport Art Center. We started our process with Claire who was super accommodating with a last minute Friday evening tour to accommodate my work schedule, once we booked we worked with Eleanor who was also wonderful. Communication with both was timely and efficient and they were super patient with all my questions! The space itself was stunning, guests are still commenting on it a month later! For us it was awesome to have an “outdoor wedding” that didn’t need a rain plan due to the cover on the ceremony space. You felt like you were outside with more of the comforts of an inside space, and the pictures turned out amazing with the natural light, tall ceilings and chandeliers! The indoor space is just as lovely and the night flowed beautifully thanks to the venue team!

Lacuna Lofts saved the day after our first venue closed. We loved the unique space. The food was amazing—some of our guests said it was the best wedding dinner they've ever had! (The mashed potatoes were a real crowd pleaser.) It ended up raining on our wedding day, so we had to pivot and have our ceremony in Magik Street rather than the skydeck. The space worked perfectly with our flowers, and our guests still got to grab photos on the roof during cocktail hour.

Walden was by far the best experience we had throughout the entire wedding planning process — starting from our very first tour. Having everything in one location and a full wedding planning service included in the venue cost was truly unmatched, and it was the only place we found in Chicago that offered this. Our wedding planners made the entire experience seamless and completely stress-free. We never once felt overwhelmed or rushed. They created a clear timeline, guided us every step of the way, and helped make our day absolutely perfect. Their recommendations for vendors in the city were invaluable, especially in a city as large and overwhelming as Chicago. One of the highlights of our entire wedding experience was getting to know our planners and having their support throughout the process. We will forever be grateful for their dedication, care, and effort. Shoutout to Briscel, Ally and Kalila. They went above and beyond to ensure our cultures were respected and honored. One side of our family came from Puerto Rico, and they made sure this was reflected beautifully — from Puerto Rican beer from the island to tropical cocktails that brought an island feel to our celebration. The food was phenomenal — we received countless compliments saying it was the best wedding food guests had ever had. Everything came out hot, cocktail hour appetizers were elevated, and the bar service was incredible with so many bartenders that no one ever had to wait for a drink. The staff was kind, organized, and attentive, and the entire day flowed seamlessly without a single hiccup. We could not imagine a better venue or team.

I couldn't be happier with our decision to book The Carter as our wedding venue! The staff made the night go flawlessly. My wedding coordinator even commented how impressed she was with how quick their staff was able to move throughout setup during the day. She also complimented the catering coordinator as being a complete pro. With The Carter you are required to use their caterer, D'Absolute, but that was not a problem for us because the food was phenomenal. Wedding food can be hit or miss, but we had multiple guests raving about everything from the apps to the late night snacks. Chris allowed us to include 2 signature drinks and customized our bar menu to whatever we wanted. Since I got married on my birthday Chris even upgraded our glassware free of charge which was such a sweet, unexpected gesture! They are very flexible with how you want to use the space, which I loved because we were able to make the event truly unique. What sold me on the space is that you don't need to add much additional decor because it's so beautiful on its own. The connecting courtyard comes with string lights. The interior space includes multiple chandeliers and string lights over the dance floor. Most other places you'd need to bring those details in, and pay for them. What I also love about the space is you get the "lofty, urban" feel without all of the pillars/poles in a typical loft space. You get high ceilings and an open floor plan, which makes the space look so much nicer (in my opinion). The cost is a little pricier than other venues we explored, however I 100% think we paid for higher quality and I have zero regrets.

When you think of stunning, elegant, calm, and beautiful - you can think of the Fairlie. We had our wedding here in mid-October of 2025 and it was nothing but spectacular. Both the bridal and groom suite were spacious and held more than enough room for everyone. The bridal sweet has excellent vanity stations and lighting, so hair and makeup can definitely be done here if preferred. We loved how much exposed brink was in the building, with very large windows which made the room seem intimate and elegant. The venue is gorgeous on it's own, so it doesn't need a ton of decorations if that is your preference. The stair case adds a special touch to any of the entrances throughout the day/night. There is a tuktuk you can utilize for your reception entrance or be used as a decorative piece - we rode into our reception this way and our guests called it "iconic." Also, the main entrance can open big enough so a food truck can drive into the venue - we did this and it was a huge hit with our guests. The staff were very responsive and accommodating - they helped personalize the venue and fulfilled our requests. There is a BYOB option, which is a huge plus in our opinion. My wife and I will always tell this story, but we knew right away that this would be the place we would get married. The Fairlie was the first venue that we saw, and as we were getting our tour, the tour guide walked right into the open space and said "and this is where you will be getting married". We both got chills, looked at each other, and thought, this is it. So, needless to say, thank you Fairlie for being such gracious hosts. We would recommend the Fairlie 100% to anyone who are looking for a venue for a wedding or event. - Kyle and Rachelle

We were lucky enough to book Canal Street Eatery & Market for our wedding on October 19th, 2024. Working with the Canal Street Team to create our event was absolutely incredible – everyone who works here is kind, warm and provided top tier service to us and our guests. Elise, the senior sales manager for catering and events, is an absolute rockstar. She ensured that our day went off without a hitch and worked very closely with us on all of the details that were important to us and our wedding day. She is extremely detail oriented, responsive, and above all else an incredible person. We love Elise!! Aside from the amazing team of people at Canal, the venue itself is absolutely jaw-dropping. Gorgeous high ceilings, perfectly decorated with a funky, yet simplistic design. It is truly the perfect setting for any party – and the pictures speak for themselves! We hardly added any of our own décor aside from our floral pieces and it was all the space needed. By utilizing the main dining space as well as their sister bar only a few steps away, we were able to have a seamless evening filled with delicious food, family and friends. We really cannot recommend Canal Street enough! Seriously, have your wedding here and come back again and again to relive the memories.

My husband and I were looking for a wedding venue for our June wedding and stumbled on this location based off other Zola reviews and we are so grateful we did. The venue is absolutely beautiful. Its everything I wanted in terms of it being and open rustic vibe. We added very little decor to the space because the space is beautiful in its own right. We got so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was and the patio space. We had both our ceremony and reception here. Jen was a joy to work with. She was super responsive easy to communicate with and answered revert single question I had. Would highly reccomend if you’re looking for a beautiful open ceremony/reception space. Neither of us had been to a wedding like this before but Wildman BT helped us decide on chair counts, station placement, and floor plan layout to encourage the vibe we were going for. We love the openness of the space, media wall, and beautiful bathrooms!

We toured Salvage One on a weekend among 10 other Chicago venue tours and we instantly knew it was the place we wanted to get married. (So instantly, that we ran out of our last tour to go sign our contract and secure our date that day!). It met and exceeded all of our expectations on the day. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and Colleen and her team are so responsive and helpful. The ceremony space is so beautiful and allows for a truly cinematic experience walking down the aisle. For the reception area, being able to leverage the antique tables (and bonus: not having to rent linens!) gave everything a perfectly cozy touch, and we partied under the disco ball all night long. We received compliments all night long on our venue choice and overall cannot recommend this location enough.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Arbory as a wedding venue. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were blown away by the modern jungalow vibes and stunning surroundings. The space is so beautiful and full of living plants that helped us stretch our floral budget while still creating a gorgeous blossoming space! The team at The Arbory was incredibly accommodating and flexible, allowing us to set up the space exactly as we envisioned for our special day. The bridal suite is amazing and provided a great space for us as a couple to step away and connect throughout the nice. I would also note that we loved the built-in photo/video booth! One of the most impressive moments was when they seamlessly flipped the ceremony space into the reception area, quickly and stealthily. It was truly a magical transformation. And I have to give a special shoutout to Shay, who went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect and that we were happy. LM Studio could not have been a better choice for our wedding day! Kristin, Shelby, and the whole staff were absolute rockstars, especially the week leading up to the wedding! They were so helpful, and since we didn't have a planner, I literally feel like I could not have done it without them. In addition to the team, the venue was absolute perfection. It was so beautiful, and getting married in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows with that view was absolutely magical. We're big Chicago people, so being so close to the park and just a quick ride to the river was amazing for photos. We were a little worried that it would be a bit tight, but honestly it was a great size for our guest count of 150 people. Our guests kept raving about the space and the food! I cannot have asked for a more perfect day and I would 1000000/10 recommend LM Studio for your wedding day!!!

I used AVEC for my daughter pre-wedding event for the family and close friends of the bride and husband. The staff at AVEC really made it a life time memorable experience to last for everyone. As for the reception, the appetizers/ hors-d’oeuvre was excellent. The open bar and the wine selection made a difference for those who attended. For the friends of my daughters, AVEC was one of the restaurant that they envied to dine at and the second floor atmosphere made it a unique experience. As for the sit down dinner for the family, it become a highlight for both family history. The wine selection for dinner was memorable and was an experience which cannot be replicated. The food was excellent and the how the family style serving provided an atmosphere for everyone closer and to become “one family”. In my mind , this was one of the top experience I have had including my time as working and living as a top executive in the Chicago area in the past 20 years. I have organized and attended dinner events for business but this experience at AVEC was the one I enjoyed the most and is ranked as my number one. I have to say that all dining experience, the staff at AVEC served us and others with a kind, friendly, and proactive way which led making the whole dining experience one that can not match by other restaurants in Chicago or anywhere around the world. As a Japanese we are used to high quality personalized services but AVEC in the West Loop is in our mind belongs in the top league worldwide. We found Sepia Private Dining and it was the perfect venue for our small wedding (50 guests). The Sepia staff did almost everything to make my wedding everything I wanted. The mirror on the wall and the decor matched our vibe. We had one set-up for the ceremony, then the guests had appetizers (we left to take pictures) and they changed the set-up for dinner and then moved a couple of tables for dancing later. I did not have a wedding planner and they made everything easy, from planning the menu to the set-up it was a stress free day! Our experience with The Blackstone was amazing and we would recommend it to anyone considering their wedding here. It was the first venue we toured and it completely set the bar. The ballroom is stunning and we found ourselves comparing every other venue to it. Nothing else compared. Carly was so great to work with throughout the entire process. She kept us organized, answered all of our questions, and made everything feel smooth and stress free. On the wedding day, the team executed everything perfectly. Even with a full room flip between our ceremony and reception in the ballroom, the day flowed and stayed right on schedule. We felt the value was very reasonable for everything included. The food was delicious and the service was incredible. The bridal suite was also a special highlight for us. It was so huge and one of the nicest hotel rooms I have stayed in. Our guests loved their rooms too, and the pricing for our wedding block was great. We had all of our guests stay at The Blackstone and did not need to consider any secondary block elsewhere. If we could do it all over again we would choose the Blackstone every time
