Wedding at Upstairs at 39 Rue de Jean
My husband and I got married last week at Upstairs at Rue de Jean, the event space located just above the restaurant. We cannot say enough beautiful things about this fantastic venue or the incredible people who made our day happen. First, a big thank you to Sass, the event manager. She allowed us to visit the space as much as we needed to ensure we were bringing our vision to life, and she handled all of our special requests with grace. Every single one of our requests was granted, and the team was so excited to help make our day so special. The event team and banquet captain, Justin, made the service impeccably smooth. Every wedding guest with allergies was tended to personally, and dinner for over 100 people went off without a hitch. The food was absolutely phenomenal, and my guests are still raving about it. I HIGHLY recommend reaching out to Rue de Jean for any private event or dinner. I am so grateful to have been able to host my wedding ceremony and reception here. Thank you so much to everyone!!! Wonderful Venue, Amazing Staff, Nice Experience
Upstairs at 39 Rue de Jean was the perfect venue for my couple's special day and for the lovely bridal show brunch I coordinated a week later. Their communication style was friendly, effective, open, and warm throughout the entire planning process. The quality of their work and the value they provided was exceptional - the historical, gorgeous, and intimate location was the ideal setting for our wedding. The service was attentive, professional, and bespoke, and we were super impressed by the delicious food and excellent service. I highly recommend Upstairs at 39 Rue de Jean.

Rehearsal Dinner
I cannot express enough how exceptional our experience was at 39 Rue de Jean for the rehearsal dinner we hosted the weekend of our son's wedding. Sass, the special events planner, was an absolute delight to work with. From the moment we began planning, her professionalism and attention to detail were evident. The staff at 39 Rue de Jean were incredibly accommodating, ensuring everything from setup to cleanup was seamless. Throughout the evening, they checked in with us multiple times to ensure everything was running smoothly and to see if we needed anything. Their attentiveness to the timing of each part of the event was impeccable. Even when we ran a bit over schedule, they were gracious and never rushed us or began cleaning up prematurely. The food was nothing short of spectacular. I received countless compliments from our guests about the delicious dishes and the overall ambiance of the evening. The entire team at 39 Rue de Jean truly made the night unforgettable. I highly recommend 39 Rue de Jean and their outstanding staff for any special event. They truly rock!

Best Night Ever
We hosted my husbands military retirement party at Upstairs at Rue de Jean and to say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made is an understatement. Sass made communication and planning so easy. There were no hidden costs, what was quoted to us is what we paid. The bartenders and staff took care of everything. The venue is so beautiful we kept our own decor minimal. We are so thankful we got to relax and spend a night we won't forget celebrating my husband's accomplishments with friends and family.
