About Marley Photography

Marley Photography

Marley Photography is based out of Charleston, SC. Rhett Marley studied to become a professional photographer, and Alicyne, his wife, is his assistant. Together they have photographed over 400 weddings across the east coast. They are currently booking for all of 2023 and 2024. Rhett is an easygoing photographer who desires to capture photos that look natural, relaxed, and breathtaking.

I believe that genuine emotions are the best. My style is all about getting real, honest emotions, and natural photos. Of course I'll step in to tweak where you need a little guidance or help, but I do my very best to make sure you feel comfortable and can forget the camera as much as possible.

Marley Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with for both our engagement session and wedding day. From our very first conversation through the final delivery, Rhett was friendly, transparent, and incredibly responsive to all of our questions. The quality of his work is bright, creative, and colorful, and he was always open-minded and enthusiastic about our more spontaneous ideas (including taking him around downtown Charleston on a golf cart in the cold!). On our wedding day, Rhett made everyone feel comfortable and at ease, and he was able to pivot effortlessly when moments unfolded unexpectedly. We had all been admiring a patch of beautiful flowers, and he quickly captured a truly special moment there. We would highly recommend Marley Photography to any couple looking for a talented, personable photographer who will go above and beyond to help bring their wedding vision to life.

What can I say, Rhett Marley is an absolute dream to work with. From beginning to end, engagement photos to wedding, intro call to planning call - his love, attention to detail, passion, kindness, and talent shine in every shot, every conversation, and in every photo. Rhett masterfully captured our wedding from beginning to end, all our guests loved him. He made it a point to interact with all of them to capture their images while at an intimate destination wedding. Rhett knew where my husband and I were throughout the entirety of the night - so we always had photos taken with guests when they requested them. I had a bold vision for drone shots at and around our venue, Rhett was excited and executed my vision flawlessly. Matt and I have plans to come to Charleston yearly and we know Rhett will always be trusted to take our photos, and one day, our family photos. I cannot recommend him enough!
