About this venue

The Mill Street Tavern is an affordable alternative to Charleston's pricey wedding venues. There is no room rental fee, only food and beverage minimums, and we'll work with your budget. We sit right on Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant with a roof deck and creekside views of the water and the Ravenel Bridge. We're a great fit for rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, bridal showers, small weddings and receptions, and day-after brunches. Every space is available for daytime events too. In-house catering and a full bar make planning easy. Spaces range from the 35-guest Tavern Lounge to a full venue buyout for 200 seated or 275 standing.

Unlike the bright, window-lined Creekside Dining Room or the wide-open Roof Deck, the lounge offers a cozy, intimate "local tavern" vibe rich with historical charm.
