About this venue
Inspired by the light-soaked villas of the South of France, La Cave provides an elevated backdrop for rehearsal dinners, bridal brunches, welcome parties, and beyond. With cozy banquettes and antique mirrors, the lounge evokes classic Provençal style with natural wood finishes, curved light stone walls, organic accents, and crystal chandeliers for added charm. Featuring a semi-private room surrounded by flowing drapery and full bar, the space is available for partial or full buyouts, with a maximum seated capacity of 35 guests, or 80 standing. Menus are fully customizable, pulling options from La Cave’s French-inspired offerings or create your own with the help of our chef and events team.

An intimate semi-private dining room for up to 14 seated guests.
Separated by intricate archways, the salon privé features a large, custom wooden farm table seating up to 14 guests and a matching credenza. Arched antique mirrors and an oversized crystal chandelier complement the large street facing windows that overlook historic King Street.

Dining Room
A Provençal inspired restaurant located in the heart of downtown Charleston
La Cave, which translates to “the cellar”, transports guests to the south of France, where elegant Provençal style is on full display. With large, street facing windows, light pours into the intimate dining room and bar, where natural wood finishes, exposed stone walls, and crystal chandeliers create a sophisticated setting. Reclaimed wooden beams and custom coffered tiles traverse the ceiling, while light blonde wood floors are laid in a herringbone parquet as a nod to old European charm.

Rehearsal Dinner & Cocktail Hour
Highly recommend for an intimate and high-quality experience for wedding rehearsal and cocktail hours. Ellery and team were nothing short of perfect. She was very prompt and organized, making our entire evening seamless and stress-free. The food was nothing short of outstanding, all guests were overly impressed with the quality. The team was also very flexible with us, bringing out more food than we anticipated as we had guests arriving late due to travel delays and were unable to dine prior to the cocktail hour. We loved it so much that we ended up extending the party because everyone was having such a great time. La Cave was the perfect size for an intimate celebration for about 90 guests and 40 for our rehearsal dinner. Highly recommend for hosting a rehearsal dinner and or cocktail hour.
