The Franklin Terrace Ballroom, formerly Mario’s, is a historic and romantic event space built in the early 1900s. Recently and entirely refurbished by the owners of Franklin Plaza Ballroom and Michael’s Catering Service, its distinctive architecture and lavish décor, including large silver-framed mirrors, tapestry, and antique foyer furniture, create a perfect backdrop for any special event. The venue also features a spacious dance floor and an atmosphere of emanating warmth. Our custom plated entrées, hors d’oeuvres, and handmade desserts are prepared by Michael’s Catering and elegantly displayed. No matter the season or style, the Franklin Terrace provides everything you need to create a personalized and unforgettable event.

From our first call to our wedding day, The Franklin Terrace team was quick to respond and always ready to help us figure things out. The venue itself is spacious and gorgeous, with the kind of elegant setting we dreamed about. What really stood out was how available they were on the day of—they constantly checked in on us and handled every detail we had dropped off beforehand, so we could just focus on enjoying our celebration. The food was phenomenal, and we loved that they let our guests take home leftovers. Everything felt perfect, and we couldn't have asked for a better team to bring our wedding vision to life. We'd absolutely recommend The Franklin Terrace to any couple looking for a venue that truly goes the extra mile.
