How many events have you played?

I have performed at more than 2,400 events, with the majority being weddings in the Cleveland area.

Question 3

Can you provide sound for both the ceremony and reception?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For ceremonies, I provide wireless lapel microphones for the officiant and groom, a stand microphone for readers if needed, and all the music required for the ceremony. For the reception, I provide a professional sound system customized to fit the venue. Additional sound can be provided for remote cocktail locations as needed.

What if you’ve never played at our venue? Will you do a site check prior to the event?

I have performed at over 240 venues, so chances are I’ve been there. If not, I will absolutely do a site check to ensure sound and lighting are perfectly optimized for your space.

Will you personally be at our event?

Accepted Answer

Yes. I will personally DJ your wedding. As the owner of my company, my name is on the contract, and I guarantee I am the one performing at your event.

How would you describe your DJ style?

I am a beat-mixing DJ. This means there are never awkward pauses between songs — tracks flow together like a club set. I play as many songs as possible throughout the evening while respecting full-length tracks for special moments. I am not a “hype DJ” — the focus is always on you, the couple, while ensuring your guests have an incredible experience.

How extensive is your music library?

My music library is extensive, covering nearly every genre imaginable. I use two redundant laptops for backup and never rely on streaming, ensuring uninterrupted music regardless of Wi-Fi availability.

Can we request specific songs?

Absolutely. My online planner gives you full control over the songs you want played at your event.

Can we provide a “Do Not Play” list?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can list songs you do not want played in the online planner, and I will honor it completely — even if Uncle Bob asks nicely!

Do you take song requests from guests?

Accepted Answer

Yes. With such a large music library, it’s rare that I don’t have a requested song available.

Question 11

Do you take breaks during the event?

Accepted Answer

No. Music plays continuously. I also do not drink alcohol or smoke at events, so your celebration stays uninterrupted.

Do you require a retainer to book?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The retainer is $300 for reception-only packages and $500 for ceremony/reception packages. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the event date.

Do you provide lighting for the dance floor or uplighting?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Dance floor lighting is included in all wedding packages. It is tasteful and elegant, designed to enhance the atmosphere without distraction. Uplighting is available for an additional cost — please request a quote.

What is your refund or cancellation policy?

The retainer is non-refundable. If the event is canceled less than 90 days before the date, the remaining balance is due. If rescheduled, the retainer can be applied to a new date if available.

Do you carry liability insurance?

Yes. I carry a $2 million liability policy, which is required by most venues.

Do you have a backup plan for outdoor events or inclement weather?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For outdoor ceremonies, I can play without shelter if rain is not in the forecast, provided the setup is shaded from direct sunlight. If rain occurs, the client must provide a tent or shelter. This also applies to outdoor receptions.

Do you bring backup equipment?

Yes. I always bring redundant laptops, an iPad, an iPhone with music loaded, two wireless microphones, and additional speakers if needed to ensure your event runs flawlessly.
