Q: Do you take music requests?

Yes! I do text requests so your guests can conveniently send me their requests from anywhere in the room.

Q: Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Yes to both! I start music 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to set the mood and entertain guests as they arrive.

Q: How early do you come to set up?

You can expect me to be there at least 2 hours prior to the event to setup.

Q: What are your sales taxes?

No taxes are required. Prices are as marked.

Q: What is your travel and break down fee?

Setup and breakdown is included. I travel up to 1 hour away from Canal Fulton for no additional charge. I'm happy to travel further for a fee of $50 per hour, charged both ways. i.e. Columbus $100, Toledo $150, Geneva $65.

Q: What do you wear?

I dress up! I will try and coordinate with your color scheme. I typicaly wear a nice blazer, but if its an outdoor wedding in 90 degree weather...I might dress a bit cooler.

Q: Are you fully insured?

Yes! Some venues require vendors to show proof of insurance. Just let me know, I'm happy to send them my information.

Q: What is your style?

I go with the flow, and keep it classy. I have a great talent for blending diverse tastes and making it all flow together. I let the music do the talking, and keep the mic work short and sweet. You've got to read the room, and know what's gonna keep people dancing. I've done everything from heavy metal weddings to disco weddings, and I enjoy the challenge and variety. I know how to hype it up and get the party started!

Q: Can I submit my own playlist?

Yes. You have as much control over the playlist as you want. I can take requests or stick to your playlist.

Q: How do I choose my special songs and plan the schedule?

I have a wedding questionnaire that you will receive when you book. It's available on my website to preview. It will be helpful with the planning process generally, and you can see all the details we'll cover during our meeting.

The communication with DJ Liza was comforting, clear, and kind throughout the entire planning process. On the day of our wedding, Liza's organized, calm, and personable approach was a breath of fresh air during what can be a chaotic event. We had an amazing experience working with Rokestar- DJ Liza was fantastic and really helped our day flow perfectly. Everything was super easy and the photo booth and custom sign were amazing add ons! Our guest loved being able to text in their request. I would recommend her to anyone!
