The Barn At Monterey Valley

Holly and her staff at the BMV are amazing!!! They made our wedding day run VERY smoothly! The staff was always there when you needed them and very helpful! Not only on the day of but prior to the wedding as well! Aside from how attentive her and her staff are; the venue and outdoor area is beautiful!

5/5 Stars for the Venue, 3/5 for Communication We recently hosted our wedding at The Barn at Monterey Valley and loved the space! The venue itself is gorgeous and offers so much flexibility. Being able to choose our own vendors and use their full room of decorations was a huge perk. While the staff is super friendly, communication and organization fell short, especially for a space costing nearly $6,000. Details promised in emails were missed on the day of the wedding. For example, we were told the front rugs would be removed, but we arrived to find them still out and were told they actually couldn't be moved. We also asked for a wooden hexagon to be relocated, but it was still set up from the previous day's event when we arrived at 10:00 AM. Emailing was a bit difficult at times, and if you need help staying on schedule, I strongly recommend hiring your own day-of coordinator. We thought the venue staff would help keep us on track, but I didn't see their coordinator until I was walking down the aisle. Overall, it's a beautiful location and we loved our big day! Just be prepared to manage your own timeline and double check the setup details.

This place had so many beautiful settings. Very accommodating. My daughter had a gorgeous wedding and was very happy with her day!

The Barn at Monterey Valley is top notch and worth every penny. If a country setting and barn atmosphere are what you are looking for in a venue, look no further! The landscape is well maintained and decorated nicely with beautiful flowers, decor and furniture. No detail is missed! From the wide selection of table decorations available for use, checker boards on the porch, outside fireplace, stocked fish pond, fans and water for hot days, to mouthwash, Q tips and other toiletries in the bathrooms. The staff is kind, helpful and hard working. I highly recommend this venue!
