Welcome to PALMHOUSE. We are foodies. We are party hosts. We are cocktail connoisseurs. We believe that your event should be as smooth as good tequila. We are a community of Hospitality and Event professionals who are dedicated to making your next event THE BEST it can be. We have spent the last 10 years hosting a variety of events throughout Evanston + Chicagoland and kept coming back to how we could bring a city-vibe venue to the far north side. We’ve thrown enough parties to know what’s most important, and want to help you simplify the event planning process to make it everything you dreamed of, without the fuss — and with that, PALMHOUSE was born. DAMN we love a good party, and can’t wait to help you host your next celebration!

Featuring 21-foot ceilings, skylights, and natural light, the space blends polished concrete floors, exposed brick, and glass doors for a modern loft feel—ideal for seamless ceremonies, receptions, dining, and dancing.

Description

Standard Bar package includes a selection of spirits, wine (white/red + cava toast), beer, and hard seltzers, plus one signature cocktail. Mixers include juices, sodas, and classic cocktail ingredients. Pricing: $30/person (3 hrs), $36/person (4 hrs), $45/person (5 hrs).

Premium Bar

Description

Premium Bar package includes a wide selection of spirits, including premium options, plus two signature cocktails. Wine offerings include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and cava with tableside service. Also includes seasonal craft beers, Sol, Miller Lite, and High Noon seltzers. Mixers feature juices, sodas, and classic cocktail ingredients. Pricing is $35/person for 3 hours, $40/person for 4 hours, and $50/person for 5 hours.

Soda options include Coca-Cola products, apple and cranberry juice, La Croix, ginger beer, and garnishes such as Luxardo cherries, limes, lemons, and oranges. Pricing is $21/person for 3 hours, $28/person for 4 hours, and $35/person for 5 hours.

Description

$190 PER PERSON Family-style dining—our favorite and signature service—creates a lively, communal experience as guests share beautifully plated dishes. This package includes a five-hour standard bar, four passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, artisan bread and butter, a seasonal salad, two sides, and two entrées, plus included rentals. We also offer a preset vegetarian option and a preset kids' meal upon request.

    We love Palmhouse!

    It's always the dream team when we work with Palmhouse! The space is incredibly beautiful with wood beams, brick walls, and natural light from the skylights and windows filling each room. Not to mention, they have two beautiful bars where they serve super creative signature cocktails tailored to each event. Major bonus points for the farm tables, farm style high tops, and chairs that are included in their venue rental! The team is so thoughtful, easy to work with and professional. You know your event is in good hands when you book at Palmhouse.


PALMHOUSE holds a valid City of Evanston liquor license and liquor liability insurance and offers a variety of bar packages, as well as bar service on consumption. From curated wine selections to signature cocktails designed just for your celebration, we love creating bar experiences that feel personal and memorable. If you have something specific in mind, we’re happy to tailor a custom package or specialty cocktail program to match your vibe. Please note that outside alcohol and outside alcohol service are not permitted.
While we have a full kitchen and proudly partner with our in-house caterer, Green Spoon Kitchen, you are welcome to bring in a licensed and insured outside caterer for cultural, religious, or specific cuisine needs. We’re happy to provide a list of caterers we love as well.
Yep, you definitely can! If you are hosting both your ceremony and reception, we recommend a maximum of 300 guests to ensure flow, and turnover for the space between ceremony & reception.
As long as we do not have another event booked at the venue during your requested rehearsal time, you are welcome to schedule up to one hour for your rehearsal at no charge. Any additional time beyond the first hour is available at a rate of $250 per hour and must be scheduled in advance.
While we are working on getting the inside all dolled up for your event — we are planning on converting the current parking lot into a courtyard for events as well. In our experience, although Chicago weather can be unpredictable, you really can’t beat a lovely night under the stars if the temperature is right.
Yes, definitely! We can give a full list of people we love and who always go above and beyond. From photography, DJs, planners, & flowers — you name it, we can put you in touch with the best!
We always encourage safe travel to and from PALMHOUSE, including Uber, Lyft, taxi, or public transportation. We are just an 8-minute walk from the Howard Street Red and Purple Line station. For guests driving, we have an on-site lot that accommodates up to 18 vehicles. For larger events, we work closely with a trusted valet partner and highly recommend valet service to ensure a smooth and stress-free arrival experience
