Samantha and her team are exceptional. She planned my daughter’s wedding after we have worked in the industry together for well over a decade! ! She’s not only a problem solver, but incredibly forward-thinking, anticipating potential issues and addressing them before they ever become problems. Her couples feel supported and their families and guests always say how seamlessly the day unfolds. She also has a wonderful network of trusted vendors and fab venues she’s worked with for years. I hired Wonderstruck, run by Sam, for month-of wedding coordination. Communication was lacking a bit early on in the process of working with Sam but I brushed it off knowing services didn’t truly begin until 6 weeks prior. By the time the final month arrived, I had already handled the majority of the planning myself. A few days before the rehearsal, Sam informed me she wouldn’t be present, but she’s having her assistant, Maci, run it instead. Sam also brought on a new fill in coordinator/helper last minute who ended up being very kind and helpful but this unvoiced decision required me to re-explain key components of the wedding details to catch her up to speed the day before the wedding, meanwhile I just paid her company a couple thousand to help plan it all…. On the wedding day, Sam was aloof and left early without a word. Maci carried out the coordination with grace, and I’m so grateful for her efforts. But the lack of transparency from Sam left me feeling unimportant and overlooked. All in all, I wish I chose day-of service & I fully endorse Maci.
