    Wedding Photos

    My husband and I would not recommend Michelle based on her lack of professionalism and ability to meet deadlines. We should have known what we were getting into when she was 30 minutes late to the initial call we scheduled with her prior to booking, yet we gave her the benefit of the doubt because we liked her work and she seemed like she genuinely cared to make our day special. Our engagement session we did a few weeks prior to our wedding was not delivered until 4am the morning of our wedding. While this was not a huge concern of ours as we had already had a session with another photographer prior, this was certainly an indication of what we would be dealing with when getting our actual wedding gallery. We were supposed to receive a 72-hour sneak peek after our wedding, but we did not receive that preview until approximately 2.5 weeks after our wedding which was very frustrating as we were excited to get our photos and start sharing with family and friends. We let it slide and again, gave her the benefit of the doubt. When it came time to receive the full gallery, we were met with excuse after excuse. Every time I reached out asking for an update, I was given a specific timeline or date for when we could expect our photos and an excuse on why they still weren’t done. Each time, that date would pass without our gallery being delivered. I had to continuously follow up on my own just to get information about the status of something that was already well past the contracted deadline. My husband and I continued to be very patient and understanding for a very long time. Unfortunately, it eventually got to the point where I had to become much more firm for Michelle to actually begin to give us our photos. What made the situation even more frustrating was that during the time our wedding album was still incomplete and significantly overdue, Michelle was asking me to go out for drinks. I think that itself speaks enough to the lack of professionalism and sense of urgency we experienced during this whole process. Another thing that concerned me was her speaking negatively to me about other clients who were also upset because they had not received their photos within the contracted timeframe. It did not surprise me to learn later on she had other clients who were met with the same excuses and were still waiting for their photos almost 8 months later, so this is unfortunately not an isolated incident. I completely understand that unexpected circumstances can happen and that editing wedding galleries takes time. What I expected, however, was transparency, professionalism, and to receive my photos on time. Of course, our wedding photos are incredibly important to us, and having to spend weeks and months worrying about whether and when we would actually receive them took away from what should have been an exciting experience to relive our special day. I would like to say the photos are beautiful and Michelle did a great job capturing the day. Initially, she was very helpful and was going above and beyond to help make sure our day special. She also added on film and a short video for us complimentary which we appreciated. However, not receiving our full gallery until 8 weeks past the timeframe stated in our contract was very disappointing. I hope moving forward there is more honesty with clients about realistic timelines and they don’t have to wait as long as we did to receive their photos.

    The best decision we made

    I truly don’t even know where to begin because calling her our wedding photographer doesn’t feel like enough. She went above and beyond her role throughout our entire wedding process, and I’m so incredibly grateful we had her by our side. From the very beginning, she was supportive, patient, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our experience as special and stress-free as possible. She wasn’t just there to take beautiful photos…she helped guide us, reassured me when I needed it, paid attention to the little details, and stepped in wherever she could. On such an important and emotional day, having someone like her there made such a difference. Her talent speaks for itself, but it’s her heart and the way she cares for her couples that truly sets her apart. She made us feel comfortable, celebrated, and taken care of every step of the way. She captured moments we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives while also becoming such a meaningful part of the experience itself. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, I cannot recommend her enough. You’re not just hiring someone to take pictures… you’re getting someone who will genuinely care about you, your wedding, and your memories as if they were her own. Thank you for going far beyond what we ever could have expected and for being such an important part of our wedding journey. We will forever be grateful for you and the beautiful memories you helped us create.

    She truly went above and beyond

No. In total, with the BW versions of every color image, you will have exactly double that count. For example, If your 12 hour wedding yielded 1,000 images, you will have each of those images in both Color and BW for a total of 2,000 images.
Your full wedding gallery will be ready within 8 weeks after your wedding day. I take great care in editing each photo to ensure they meet my highest standards. You will receive a 15-20 image preview within 72 hours of your wedding.
