I'm Ameena, founder of Thee I Do Crew—a boutique Chicago wedding planning studio for couples who need their celebration to be grounded in design, feeling, and flow. My work is planning-forward and design-driven, which means I don't separate logistics from aesthetics. I care about the atmosphere in the room when your guests walk in, how your weekend flows from the first toast to the final farewell, and how every detail layers into a wedding that reads as distinctly yours.

I'm a Zillennial planner for couples planning Chicago weddings who with soul: polished logistics, precise creativity, and an innate feel for who you are both together and apart. Whether you're early in the process and need a real planning partner, or further along and need someone to lead the final stretch with full context and authority, I build celebrations that feel intentional from the inside out. I am an intersectional, culturally competent, and LGBTQIA+ affirming planner. Every couple I work with hosts a wedding weekend designed around who they actually are.

    Loved Collaborating with Ameena!

    I worked with Ameena as a vendor at a wedding showcase in early 2025. We were brought on at the last minute which could cause some stress, but Ameena was so on top of every detail of the day, she made it a breeze! She was organized, thorough, warm AND has great taste.     A Bright, Warm, Amazing Planner!

I build an intelligent timeline from everything you've already done, manage your vendors, run the rehearsal, and lead your wedding weekend with full context. When something shifts (and it always shifts) I handle it. Because this is my work, and I know what matters.
