I am Hillary, the lead planner and owner of Starbird Co. I was born and raised in Northern, Maine. I am familiar with everything up here, venues, florists, bakeries, and most importantly -- the weather. If you are looking for a secluded summer wedding or maybe prefer whimsical winter events, I am your girl! I am anxious to meet you, learn more about your special event and become your go-to for the next few months as we make your vision a reality. It is that simple.
I enjoy getting to know my clients, understanding their stories + unique ideas. I love culminating that knowledge into the most perfect day tailored to fit your style. There are many decisions you will have to make during the planning process, I am here to make those decisions streamlined, simple and stress-free. I offer suggestions based upon your style + design ideas and help curate an idea board which makes narrowing down your vision so much easier.

Highly recommended wedding coordinator/planner
We hired Hillary from Starbird Co. as our wedding planner and could not be more thrilled with her services. Hillary and her team were organized, friendly, and consistent throughout the entire planning process. She was hard-working, dedicated, and reliable, ensuring that every detail of our special day was executed perfectly. Hillary worked with us on every aspect of the wedding for over a year, from the chairs to the cake to the band to the seating chart. We could not have done it without her and we were able to truly enjoy our wedding weekend thanks to Hillary and her team's incredible efforts. If you are getting married in Northern Maine, I cannot recommend Starbird Co. highly enough. Do not hesitate to book with them!

Highly recommend Hillary for your wedding day needs! She’s professional, personable, & her attention to detail is top notch! Genuine, invested, flexible, strategic
My husband and I started planning our destination wedding at Blair Hill Inn and as our day was quickly approaching we realized we would benefit from a day-of coordinator in order to truly enjoy our wedding day. We were instantly put at ease after a consultation with Hillary. We hired Hillary for day-of coordination services and two zoom planning calls leading up to our wedding day. As we entered our wedding week with a strong likelihood of rain, Hillary went above and beyond to create multiple contingency plans, working flawlessly with our other vendors to ensure we could carry out all the aspects we wanted in our day. As the weather forecast changed by the minute just prior to our ceremony, Hillary made recommendations but ultimately left decisions up to us when it came to changing our timeline, and carried out our decisions without hesitation. She was genuinely invested in making sure our wedding day went perfectly, and thanks to her expertise it did!

Incredible planner!
Hillary was very thoughtful & down to earth. Always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy and satisfied. We planned an outdoor ceremony however, rain had other plans! Hillary was able to pivot quickly and create a perfect indoor ceremony space that was just as magical and perfect. Her communication was incredible which is very important to me. She made us feel less stressed during the entire wedding process!
