She’s the one running the show — from crafting those scroll-stopping social videos, chatting up couples and vendors each week, keeping budgets on point, and turning your Pinterest dreams into reality. Truly, there’s nothing she can’t handle (and she does it all with a smile and probably a coffee in hand). When she’s not planning the wedding of your dreams, you’ll find Alyssa chasing her kiddos, lost in a good book, or dancing around the living room with her wife, Cynthia — because joy is kind of her thing.

After getting marriesn in Dripping Springs in 2021, Alyssa officially fell head-over-heels for the wedding world and has not looked back since! As a former bride herself, she knows just how magical (and wonderfully chaotic) planning a wedding can be. Which is why she is passionate about being the go-to gal who keeps everything running smoothly. Something Borrowed, Something Blue, and Someone who handles it all? That’s Alyssa.

Alyssa is the best ever! She got back to us quick after we inquired and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. She gave us a preferred list of vendors and still let us pick anyone else not on the list. She made me feel like a queen on my day! She even made Parker feel like a king! To be honest, planning this wedding, especially in those last couple of weeks could not have happened without the help of Alyssa and her team. We both have busy jobs and having someone to keep us on task and help knock things off of the list was a gamechanger. Alyssa was there to answer questions, field calls, and handle vendors. She made the final checks easy and I didn't even think about whether or not my vendors were going to be where they were supposed to be on the day of. And let's talk about the day of -- Alyssa was a rockstar. Her team worked to make sure everything was set up just the way we wanted it and everything went off without a hitch. It was so nice to have someone in our corner who was there not only to celebrate with us but to make sure things went well for us. She communicated timely and effective and was so kind and easy to work with. I felt like she really understood our vision and went above and beyond to make it happen. We loved working with Something Blue and would recommend them to anyone planning their big day.
