I’m Kristi, the owner of KL Coordination. I’ve been helping couples plan weddings professionally since 2020, and if I’ve learned nothing, it’s that above all else, your vision matters. And no matter what, you’ll never regret doing something that feels right for you and your story. Based in Chapel Hill, KL Coordination is a full-service wedding planning and coordination company that covers the whole state of North Carolina and beyond. Our team focuses on handling all of the tasks behind-the-scenes, so you have the space to actually enjoy your wedding instead of drowning in logistics. We work to bring your vision to life and to make the planning process as stress-free as possible, and ensure your wedding day is not only beautiful, but incorporates all of the details that you love.

Best for couples who want hands-on support from the moment you book through the final dance of your wedding night. From the day you book us, we're your partner in everything leading up to your big day. We'll help you build your vendor team from scratch, manage your budget, guide design decisions, and handle all the behind-the-scenes coordination so you can actually enjoy being engaged.

Best for couples who've made some decisions and booked a few vendors, but now realize there's way more to figure out than expected. You've gotten started, but now you need an expert to help you finish strong. We'll step in to source remaining vendors, review all your contracts, coordinate everyone, and make sure the day runs flawlessly.

Best for hands-on couples who've planned everything themselves and just need an expert team to execute it flawlessly. You did the planning, now let us take over and make sure it actually happens the way you envisioned. We'll review everything you've booked, build your timeline, coordinate all vendors, and run the day so you can finally relax.

Absolutely, yes. As members of the community ourselves, we proudly work with couples from all backgrounds and beliefs. We wholeheartedly believe that love is love, and all couples are fully welcome here just as they are. What matters to us is the connection you share, the joy you're celebrating, and the experience you want to create together. Your relationship, your story, and your vision are what guide our work. Full stop.
No one can be in two places at once, and so we will always come with a team of at least two on your wedding day! You'll be assigned a planner from our team as soon as your contract is signed, based on wedding location and team availability. Your team will have a lead planner as well as at least one assistant!
100% yes! We will always have a backup coordinator available for your wedding. This person will be someone that is both trained and someone we trust!
We are licensed through the NC Department of Revenue (as KL Coordination LLC) and we are insured through The Hartford!
