Hi, I’m Maggie, the photographer behind Maggie Whitesell Photography. Based in Raleigh and I've traveled all over the world to capture love stories. I specialize in cinematic, emotion-filled imagery captured through a blend of digital and 35mm film. My approach is calm, intentional, and deeply people-focused, creating space for couples to fully experience their day while I preserve it honestly and artfully.

I approach weddings with an editorial eye and a documentary heart to balance artful imagery with the real, in-between moments that make a wedding feel alive. Rather than forcing a heavily posed experience, I guide couples naturally so their photos still feel like them. Every gallery is thoughtfully curated with a mix of digital and film photography to create timeless imagery with texture, movement, and emotion. Beyond the photos themselves, I’m known for creating a relaxed, supportive experience that helps couples feel genuinely comfortable, present, and cared for throughout the entire process.
