About Heirloom Event Collective

Holly Lindley

I've been designing events for over 15 years, but in many ways, I've been building them my entire life. My grandmother transformed the ordinary into something unforgettable. My mother, a graphic designer, raised me in pattern, print, and color theory. I learned early that a stripe and a floral can coexist beautifully when the proportions are right. Design wasn't decoration- it was language. Heirloom Event Collective is the natural evolution of those influences. I'd be delighted to build something that feels just like you.

For 20+ years I've been curating gatherings that feel layered, immersive, and deeply personal. My greatest pride isn't in how something looks (though that matters) but in how it feels. Nothing generic. Nothing without intention. Everything curated around the person, the story, the moment at its center. I believe gatherings should feel inherited rather than invented. Layered rather than styled. Immersive rather than decorated. Let's create something that feels like it's always belonged to you.

In three words: Creative, Fun, Organized

    Creative, thoughtful, attentive. Incredible.

Working with this vendor was an absolute dream! They have an incredible eye for detail and a rare ability to take even the most mundane elements and make them feel thoughtful, beautiful, and incredibly special. What impressed me most was their ability to see possibilities that I never would have thought of on my own. They have a way of opening your eyes to new ideas and perspectives, explaining the why behind their recommendations, and turning little details into meaningful moments. Their creativity, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail truly elevated the entire experience. If you want someone who doesn’t just execute your vision but helps you discover a vision you didn’t even know you had, I cannot recommend them enough!

I've had the pleasure of experiencing Holly's event planning firsthand and there is truly no one like her. Every detail was considered, every moment felt intentional, and the overall experience was nothing short of magical. What sets Holly apart isn't just her extraordinary eye for design or her impeccable organizational skills, it's the way she makes you feel completely taken care of from start to finish. She has a gift for taking your vision and elevating it into something that feels even more beautifully you than you imagined. Heirloom Event Collective is the real deal. If you're looking for someone who treats your event like it's the most important thing she's doing

I don't work from templates or lookbooks. Before I talk florals or venues, I want to know how you met, what you love, and what you want people to feel when they walk into your celebration. Everything we build comes from that conversation. The result is a wedding that doesn't look like one I've done before, it looks like you. Gatherings I create feel personal and not cookie-cutter, and that philosophy guides every decision we make together.
It begins with a deep dive discovery call or meeting where I get to know you as a couple; your story, your aesthetic, your non-negotiables, and your vision for the day. From there, the process is completely tailored to your package and your needs, but you can always expect clear communication, a calm and organized point of contact, and a planning experience that feels as enjoyable as the wedding itself. Couples often tell me that working with Heirloom was the best decision they made, not just because of how the day turned out, but because of how the whole process felt.
Never. When you book with Heirloom, you have my complete and undivided attention. I intentionally limit the number of weddings I take on so that every couple feels like my only couple, because on your day, you are. That commitment to presence is something I take seriously, and it is reflected in every interaction from our first call to your final farewell.
Absolutely, and some of my favorite work happens in the days surrounding a wedding. Bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, day-after brunches, engagement parties - these are moments that deserve the same intentionality as the wedding itself, and I love designing them as part of a cohesive celebration rather than an afterthought. Additional events can be added to any planning package or booked as standalone engagements.
Popular dates (especially Saturdays in spring and fall) book 12-18 months in advance. If you have a specific date in mind, reaching out sooner rather than later is always the right move. That said, I occasionally have openings for closer dates, so it's always worth asking.
Yes, and this is one of the most valuable things a planner brings to your wedding. Over years of working in Southern California I have built relationships with photographers, florists, caterers, hair and makeup artists, officiants, and more whose work I genuinely admire and whose professionalism I trust. My recommendations are always based on what's right for your vision and budget.
Yes. A deposit is required to hold your date, with the remaining balance structured in installments leading up to your wedding. I believe your planning experience should feel financially manageable & not stressful, because the last thing you need is one more thing to worry about.
Heirloom Event Collective is based in South Orange County and serves all of Southern California, from San Diego to Santa Barbara and everywhere in between. I also plan destination weddings for couples who want to celebrate somewhere extraordinary. Travel is quoted separately for weddings outside of SoCal.
