I know that you have searched high and low for that one person to help you with your special day, so it is truly humbling that you thought of us. Planning an event takes time, we know this. Sometimes a few days, sometimes years (more like 1-2 years) to pull the perfect day together. ​During my time as a Wedding Planner, I have learned that it's the relationship between my team, vendors, and clients that help create such a seamless and successful event. I want everyone that we work with at Grey Skies to bring some sunshine to your marriage and that all starts with a successful wedding day!

Now let me introduce myself! My name is Katie Cuevas (Kuh-way-vas) and I am the owner and lead planner for Grey Skies Wedding Planning! I absolutely LOVE planning parties! I love the details, the planning and then watching all the pieces come together to create a magical event. Grey Skies specializes in local weddings and events here in the Tacoma/Seattle/Olympia region, but can also help plan destination weddings!     Katie was so amazing to work with. She made sure all of the details were taken care of and our big day ran so smoothly! I highly recommend.

    Fantastic Day-Of Coordinator!

    From the very beginning, Katie stood out as an event planner. As soon as she got my inquiry, she was excited to connect and discuss what we wanted for our wedding--I learned throughout my vendor search process that this eagerness to connect and communicate is important, and Katie certainly followed through every step of the way. Even though all we needed was a day-of-coordinator, Katie delivered so much more! We were able to have several meetings with Katie to discuss our plans, and she was so helpful in suggesting things to think about. She also provides some awesome spreadsheets that helps you track expenses, guest list, contact info for vendors, ceremony layout, etc. As a person, she is super laid-back and has a great sense of humor. Definitely pick Katie!!

Yes! We plan everything from baby showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties, honeymoons, rehearsal dinners, fashion shows, corporate events, etc.!
Not usually. Our team is small and we love giving our couples 100% of our focus and time.
I have an amazing team! Depending on which package you are in need of, sometimes my team members are included for set-up and tear-down. But depending on how your event or wedding needs are, we figure out the best fit for you and the big day!
We spend quite a bit of time together planning and getting details ironed out. It is good to feel comfortable with your planner/coordinator because this is a big event! We can meet for coffee, lunch, or via video chat for our meetings, really its wherever is most convenient and comfortable for you.
We work as the main point of contact the day of your wedding, we manage the timeline, and we keep everything running smoothly so that you and your partner can enjoy your big day!
Just one person can not set up an entire wedding, it's quite the production! Day-Of coordinators are here to manage the timeline, and to guide the wedding, and other vendors, on how to have a successful day. If you do require additional assistance day of, please let us know and we can discuss additional team members to be added. **If you book our Partial or Full Planning Packages, set-up/tear-down is always included
