We are a local company specializing in beautiful Grand Canyon weddings. Whether you want a simple elopement with stunning photography, or a unique micro-wedding at one of the most scenic locations in Arizona; we can make it happen!

We have always had a passion for smaller, more intimate weddings at beautiful outdoor locations. This has been our primary focus since we started in 2009. Rest assured that our guidance and recommendations come from first-hand, personal experience. Our "vendors" are a dream team that works tirelessly to make sure all of our Couples have the best day possible. We also live and work in the area and are happy to help with all aspects of your trip, so you can be confident that you will have a great experience, that extends well beyond the wedding itself.

This starting price represents the pricing for our Destination Wedding Ceremony only package. The Ceremony Plus Reception packages start at $8020 for an hors d'oeuvres style reception with a grazing board.

Simple elopement packages start at $1199. However, our most popular elopement package our Luxe Elopement Package for $3999.

    Grand Canyon Elopement 100/10!

    GCWP is absolutely the best vendor and provider for an easy and simple process. No attention to detail will be skipped out on, everything is catered to your wants and style. They make the biggest day of one’s life come together with ease, beauty and love! I wish I could relive our day over and over again. As a natural control freak, I had my reservations but not one thing disappointed. Everything was perfect. Don’t hesitate if you’re interested in an elopement to one of the worlds greatest wonders!

    Excellent wedding professionals

    The team at Grand Canyon Wedding Packages is stellar. Communication is clear, response is swift, and they do a great job for all their couples. No other entity which arranges weddings at the Grand Canyon does things as well as they do. I've enjoyed working with them for years, and have had only positive experiences.

All of our wedding ceremonies take place on approved scenic overlooks at the South Rim area in the Grand Canyon National Park. The South Rim area is where the Main Entrance of the Grand Canyon is, and would be considered the official area of the Grand Canyon that most tourists want to visit.
Chairs and decorations of any kind are not permitted to be setup at any of the ceremony locations. You may have hand held bouquets and boutonnieres or corsages. We can provide a couple of chairs, upon request, for any elderly or disabled guests, but all other guests should expect to stand during the wedding ceremony. This is a regulation established by the National Park Service.
You are required to obtain a Special Use Permit from the National Park and we assist you with this process after booking. The permit fee is not included in our packages and must be submitted directly to the National Park along with the permit application. We are not allowed to complete the permit application for you. The fees range from $240-$500 depending on the selected site. The fees are set by the National Park and are subject to change at any time. After you have booked with us, we will provide you with photos and detailed information about the available sites and help you make the best choice for your group.
The largest outdoor ceremony location, with a Grand Canyon view, has a maximum capacity of 85; this count must include participating vendors as well. There is an indoor amphitheater (no view) that can accommodate up to 250 guests. We can also offer larger, luxury tented receptions in the Forest near the Grand Canyon.
No, helicopters are not permitted to land within the South Rim area of the Grand Canyon. However, we can easily add a helicopter excursion to your wedding package and you can take the helicopter tour either before or after the wedding ceremony. These tours take off from and return to the Grand Canyon National Park Airport (GCN) in Tusayan, AZ.
No, the distance from Las Vegas to the Main Entrance area of the Grand Canyon is beyond the range of a helicopter. The tours that are advertised as Helicopter excursions to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas are actually going to what is referred to as Grand Canyon West. Grand Canyon West is a tribal enterprise of the sovereign Indian Nation of the Hualapai Tribe. The photos you see of weddings by our company are all from within the Grand Canyon National Park; this is typically the area that visitors come from all over the world to see. The National Park is approximately 275 miles or about 4 to 4.5 hours from Las Vegas.
Transportation is not included with any of our packages. We do work with a black car service that can easily transport Couples or very small groups. This service can be added to any package as an optional upgrade. Transportation for larger groups is more limited but is a task we can work on during the planning phase for your wedding.
Most of our eloping couples without guests will rent a car in Las Vegas and drive to the Grand Canyon. The drive is approximately 275 miles (4-4.5 hours). We recommend staying overnight near Grand Canyon at least the night of the wedding, and possibly the night before. If you will be traveling with a group, you can rent a Van in Las Vegas and drive together, or we can arrange for a private shuttle with a driver to pick up your group in Las Vegas for an additional fee. There are no major airlines that fly from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon airport. There is a very small plane that makes the trip daily, and fares run $500+ round trip.
Any time of year you choose to visit Grand Canyon, you will want to be prepared for a variety of climates. The South Rim area, where Grand Canyon Village is located is 7,000 feet above sea level. This means a chance of snow in winter and cool nights in summer. High temperatures range from the 70’s to 80’s (21 – 27 ºC) in the summer months during the day, to 30’s and 40’s (-1 – 4 ºC) during the winter. July and August present a high probability of thunderstorms, while December through March present a good chance of winter weather and possibly snow. The nicest weather tends to be in mid-Spring, early Summer and the Fall.
Flagstaff, Arizona – Pulliam Airport is a small regional airport with connections to Phoenix, Dallas, and Los Angeles via American Airlines. Flagstaff is 75 miles from Grand Canyon. Phoenix, Arizona – Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix, Arizona is the nearest International Airport with all major airlines. Phoenix is 220 miles from Grand Canyon. Las Vegas, Nevada – McCarren International Airport is the second closest International Airport to the Grand Canyon. Las Vegas is 270 miles from the Grand Canyon.
The Grand Canyon area offers many good hotel accommodations, and we are happy to provide you with a complete list upon request. However, the area is limited in resort style amenities. The nearest "resorts" would be located in Sedona, Arizona. Sedona is another beautiful Arizona destination with stunning red rock formations, lush gardens and creeks throughout the town. Sedona is approximately 110 miles from the Grand Canyon.
This is an important question. The Grand Canyon is among one of the most stunning locations in the world and makes for an amazing wedding experience. However, it is a National Park and there are almost always tourists around. We do our best to create privacy for our clients, but there is no guarantee your wedding will be 100% private. We have a few locations that we prefer because privacy is more obtainable; but there is only 1 location where the Special Use Permit grants you use of a private area. Even then, a small number of tourists may hike into the area.
There are no salons in the vicinity of the Grand Canyon. However, we work with hair & makeup artists in neighboring communities to provide on-location beauty services at your Grand Canyon area hotel. This service can be added to your wedding package upon request, for additional fees. Availability is sometimes limited, particularly in the busy season, so it’s important to request this service as early as possible for the best chances of getting someone confirmed.
You will need to obtain an Arizona Marriage License. The fee is $83. If you live in the United States and have at least 5 weeks before your wedding, you may apply for the marriage license by mail through Mojave County. If you would like to obtain the marriage license in person, you will need to plan to visit any Arizona marriage license office during business hours with either your Passports or 2 forms of official identification; both parties must be present. In some cases you may also want to get a certified copy mailed to you after the wedding for an additional fee of approximately $25.
You will need to obtain an Arizona Marriage License and possibly an Apostille. You will need to check with your local authority to determine if, in fact, you will need the Apostille to record your legal marriage in your home Country. If you you do need an Apostille, please let us know and we can further advise you on this matter. To obtain the Arizona Marriage License you will need to build time into your travel itinerary to visit a local area courthouse. There is no waiting period, so you can plan this on the day before, or even the day of the wedding. You will both need to go to the courthouse in person with your Passports only.
Weddings on premium dates and holidays, holiday weekends and free entrance days do incur a premium rate adjustment that may be anywhere from $400–$2000 depending on the package type and the specific date. Premium dates are all dates where the month and day are the same number, or the day and year are the same (ie. 01/01/2020 and 01/20/20).
Holidays, holiday weekends and free entrance days are typically much busier within the park and require a longer time commitment from our team to ensure they are able to overcome any traffic or lengthy park entrance delays (this can sometimes add up to 2-3 hours for each member of our team). In order to allow our team to enjoy time with their families, we usually do not accept wedding bookings on major holidays. Holiday bookings are considered on case by case basis.
