About Esteri Events

Esteri Events

Co-Owner & Lead Coordinator

With over 35 years of friendship and shared passion for celebrating life's milestones, Esteri Events operates with seamless synergy. When you hire them, you get both lead coordinators—Alejandra (Alex) Moreno and Monica M. Cortes—as your dedicated professionals managing every logistical detail, combining creative vision with absolute diligence.

We don’t measure our success by the volume of events we book, but by the depth of experience we deliver. While large-scale event companies often treat milestone celebrations like a checklist, we approach every occasion as a personal partnership.

In three words: Confident, Organized, Positive

While we occasionally take on more than one wedding in a weekend, we never book more than one per day. More importantly, you will always have both of us on your wedding day—never just an assistant or a split team. You get our complete, undivided attention when it matters most.
Let’s just say you’ll feel almost like family by the time your big day arrives! Typically, we’ll hold 2 to 3 dedicated in-person meetings (lasting about 1–2 hours each, depending on where you are in your planning and your exact scope of work). Beyond our scheduled meetings, we’re always just a text or email away for quick updates, advice, or quick questions along the way. We keep communication easy, open, and stress-free so you always feel completely supported.
With years of hands-on experience in the industry, we’ve coordinated a wide variety of celebrations—from classic, intimate weddings to large, high-energy milestone events. While we love creating seamless, elegant weddings of all styles, we have a particular soft spot for celebrations filled with rich culture, traditional elements, and unforgettable dance floors (like Quinceañeras and multi-generational family affairs!). No matter the size or style, our approach is always the same: calm, deeply personal, and meticulously organized.
Yes, we operate as a two-person team! When you hire us, you work directly with both co-owners throughout your entire planning journey. There’s no passing you off to junior planners or last-minute assistants—we are both with you every step of the way, including on-site on your big day to ensure everything runs flawlessly
We focus our energy purely on wedding days, though we are happy to step in and coordinate showers or rehearsal dinners to ensure everyone knows where to be and when! However, because we specialize strictly in coordination and management—and do not handle decorating—we leave styling and decor setup for your showers in your capable hands (or a specialized decorator's!).
Our standard coordination packages include up to 12-15 (max 15)consecutive hours on-site on your event day. We arrive before your first key vendor arrives and stay through breakdown to ensure everything wraps up smoothly.
A planner helps you choose vendors, manage budgets, and design the overall look. As coordinators, you do the planning, and we step in toward the end to execute your vision! We double-check logistics, manage vendor arrivals, keep the schedule running smoothly, and solve any unexpected hiccups.
We focus entirely on timeline management, vendor logistics, and guest flow. While we are happy to place small, simple personal items like your guestbook, place cards, or pre-assembled favors, we do not handle heavy setup, floral arranging, draping, or room transformations.
Absolutely. We reach out to all of your booked vendors weeks before the event to introduce ourselves, confirm arrival times, review insurance, and send out our finalized Master Vendor Timeline.
Yes! We lead your ceremony rehearsal (typically 1 hour) so your wedding party, family, and officiant know exactly where to walk, stand, and turn. We make sure everyone feels confident before the big day.
While vendor meals are never expected, they are always greatly appreciated! Since we are on-site and on our feet for 8 to 12 hours straight managing your event, a quick meal break during your dinner service helps keep us energized and ready to tackle the rest of the night.
Venue coordinators represent the venue—they manage the building, venue staff, and venue-provided food and drinks. As your private day-of coordinators, we represent you. We focus on your entire timeline, your personal vendors, your wedding party, and all the details that belong strictly to your vision.
Yes, most venues require all hired vendors to carry active Commercial General Liability insurance. We take care of collecting Certificate of Insurance (COI) documents from your vendor team prior to the wedding so you don't have to worry about venue compliance.
At the end of the evening, we safely pack up your personal items (guestbook, cards, cake toppers, decor pieces you brought) and hand them off to your designated family member or trusted friend before we leave.
