Meet Kristin Crooks, owner and lead planner of Besher Events. ​ Besher was a nickname given to Kristin by her father who passed away on 9/11/16. After he passed away, Kristin decided to pursue her passion while honoring her dad, by launching her own event planning company on 9/11/17. ​ Kristin always knew event planning was her passion. Throughout her life, she was constantly organizing get-togethers and events for her friends and family. During college, she took her event planning a step further and interned at a major Chicago event planning business, where she was able to learn the tricks of the trade.

    Best In The Business

    Working with Besher Events has been a game changer for our vendor relationships. Kristin's communication is consistently on time and professional, but what really sets her apart is her meticulous attention to detail! She catches the things that slip past everyone else. When a bride's transportation fell through weeks before the wedding, Kristin didn't just find a replacement; she sourced something that elevated the entire experience and perfectly matched the wedding's aesthetic. Coordinating a wedding day with multiple vendors is complex, but having someone like Kristin in charge means couples can actually be present and enjoy their celebration instead of worrying about logistics. Every event I work on with her is executed flawlessly, and honestly, she's a genuine pleasure to collaborate with in the creative process! I cannot recommend her enough or say enough good things about her!

    Spectacular Balloons!

    I have used Besher Balloons 3 times and will continue to use them. Not only is Kristin outstanding in listening, she added so much thought to making them all perfect. She was on time, very organized and neat.

    If you're considering hiring Besher Events - DO IT

    A friend of mine recommended Besher Events after she heard that I got engaged. At first, I wasn't sure if I wanted to hire a wedding planner but I ended up deciding to do it in order to help things run smoothly and I am SO glad I did! Kristin kept me on track throughout the entire process and helped with everything from finding vendors in my budget, to planning the aesthetics of the wedding, to having meetings with vendors, and even helped us plan/choreograph our surprise first dance! It was a total hit with our guests and set the tone for a full dance floor all night long. Kristin knows what she's doing when it comes to the wedding planning process and dealing with vendors. If you're considering hiring her for your wedding - DO IT!

    Best experience & wedding day!!

    We heard about Besher Events through a friend of a friend and it was the best decision we could’ve possibly made throughout wedding planning! Kristin immediately started suggesting and contacting vendors, and helping come up with the theme/design for the whole wedding. We gave her general ideas and lots of pictures off Pinterest and she made it all come to life. She truly put so much effort into making our day perfect (she even made the sun come out!!) and if anything went wrong we didn’t even notice. Not only is Kristin an amazing wedding planner, but she was also an amazing friend to lean on for the entire 1.5 years of planning. We’ve gotten SO many compliments about how our wedding turned out and also how well organized it was. We are truly blessed to have been able to work with Besher Events!!
