Best Decision!!

I had read in a wedding magazine that you should hire a photographer who feels like a friend so that you are happy they are there on the day. Danieka met me for coffee in Monterey before we signed our contract and she was SO nice. Once we signed the contract, she started to send me recommendations for other vendors, suggested wedding timelines, and little pieces of advice she had picked up from other weddings (not too often - just 3-4 really informative emails throughout the year that we were planning and she was really responsive if I had questions). On the wedding day, she was prompt, really kind and struck an incredible balance between making sure that we had the pictures we wanted, but also that we were able to enjoy the day and not spend too much time taking pictures. I felt so happy she was there. Now, one week after our wedding, with just the pictures to look back on, we are SO happy that we booked her.

Most amazing photographer everything!!

It just got married this past April and Danieka was one of the best photographers I have ever worked with. I work in marketing and have done many shoots with various photographers over the years, and I have to say, Danieka was the most patient, professional and overwhelmingly talented photographer I have ever worked with. She was also sooo good with my family and friends on wedding day! We had a lot of last minutes changes and she was able to capture our day perfectly! Highly recommend her!!

I worked with Danieka a couple of years ago at a wedding and had a wonderful experience! She is organized, personable, very easy to work with, and made my job as a wedding coordinator easy. Her work is stunning and her turnaround time is impressive. I would absolutely recommend Danieka!

Danieka was our photographer for our outdoor wedding, and she did a phenomenal job. We had so many compliments from friends and family about how cool she was and how great the photos turned out. Danieka made it all super easy and smooth. I was a mature (ok, menopausal), plus-size bride, and being the center of attention and getting my picture taken was wayyyyyyyy outside my comfort zone. Danieka was so great with us in the planning process and on the day of, and her 2nd shooter was super chill and skilled too. We now have 2 beautiful, framed wedding portraits on our living room wall and oodles of wonderful shots. We both do some photography as hobbies, and we know a little about how challenging it can be to get a great shot — and we mostly take pictures of flowers and things that don’t move a lot. Wedding photography is a challenging arena and the great ones are true heroes — you’re navigating a lot of different factors and you hear a lot that “it’s the most important day of your life”, so the stress can really pile up. Danieka really made it so easy and smooth. On the big day she was there but not intrusive or annoying, she was part of our people. Many of our guests commented on how wonderful she is. I‘ve heard horror stories of bad wedding photographers, and it’s a weird business in that you usually don’t get repeat business. Danieka made getting great photos easy and straightforward.
