Evan + Emily

Photographer + Studio Manager

Evan and Emily have been married for 5 years and run the photo studio together. We love to be outside - Evan is an avid trail runner and Emily likes to hike with our greyhound, Gus. If you gave us a week off, we'd probably end up camping somewhere in Utah, or finding cheap plane tickets to a city we've never been to. Weddings kind of fell in our lap 7 years ago, when Evan moved to Chicago. We are so grateful to be a part of each client's day, knowing that we are participating in something they will remember forever.

We started working together even before we were married, and have spent the last 7 years creating a photo studio that gives you two points of contact - Evan is the creative one, the dreamer who will find the perfect shots while simultaneously being a fly on the wall. Emily is there for all of the pre-wedding planning and to keep everything organized and on track once the big day arrives.

Yes! All of our packages include a second photographer and Emily will come along as an assistant. Don't worry, this is all built into the pricing. If you are having a smaller wedding, we can always create a custom package for you.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Typically, couples book me about 10-13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about our availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a USB drive with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
In my 7 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, the second photographer will take over as first photographer and we will find another colleague to act as second. I will still edit the photos, so the images will be representative of the work you expected.
