Hi, I'm Mei! I first started out in photography just taking photos of friends in college, and now I get to photograph weddings, performances, celebrations, special events, and everything in between. Whether you're a natural in front of the camera or you hide whenever one comes out (like me!), I'm ready to capture you at your most radiant.

I've always cherished the in-between moments - the double-take as you catch that first glimpse of your loved one walking down the aisle, the goofy faces you make at each other in between formal photos, the laughter as you trip over your words during your vows. As a classically trained musician, I learned from a young age to always keep an eye out for the tiniest of details, and I've carried that into my photography practice. I'll catch those little golden snapshots that others may never notice--and I'll help you look and feel your most natural, comfortable, and beautiful on your special day.

    My partner and I had such a wonderful time working with Mei! From start to finish, she made the whole process so easy and comfortable. She asked thoughtful questions and quickly understood and accommodated what we were looking for and she really captured the essence of our day. She even helped us troubleshoot a last minute complication with our ceremony site! I’m not usually comfortable having my photo taken but Mei quickly put me at ease and got some great shots. Our photos are exactly what we wanted and more.

    I am not exaggerating when I say that the thing we have gotten the most complements on since our special day is the photos themselves. Mei is phenomenal at capturing tender and exuberant moments AS THEY HAPPEN. Nothing looks staged because nothing felt staged. She was there with us to make every step of what could have been a very stressful day feel as fun, loving, and exciting as possible. From booking to planning to the wedding weekend itself, Mei was communicative, gentle, and intentional. She wasn't just there to capture the weekend, she improved it in every way. I could not imagine a better photographer to work with—from communication to vibes to the photos themselves, Mei is the best of the best!

    Mei did a wonderful job of photographing our engagement outdoors. She worked with my now fiancée to be discreet and still get the best angles and our first emotions on camera. The photos we got back made me tear up as they captured my shock and pure happiness in the proposal moment. I am so thankful that my partner found her for the job. Mei is definitely going to be now our wedding photographer, 10/10

    Mei was such an attentive and skilled photographer for our wedding! She was organized and helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera. I was a bit indecisive regarding a photo aesthetic ahead of the wedding, but she helped us figure out exactly what we wanted and managed to capture our personalities as well as our special venue tremendously well. We will definitely recommend her to other couples!
