We are professional freelance hairstylists working in the bridal industry since 2015. We constantly improving our skills to be able to deliver the best experience to our beautiful clients. Currently, we serve only small weddings in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Jersey City.

Former hairstylist Anna Novy was born and raised in Ukraine and moved to NYC in 2015. As most of the East European professionals, Anna is very detail oriented and responsible. Our hairstylists offer a wide range of hair styling from classic styles to Hollywood waves and updos. It’s very important for us to make our clients feel loved and understood. We will be very glad to become a part of your big day!

  • Mixed Experience Due to Last-Minute Changes

    I reached out to Ana back in February 2025 to book hair styling for my elopement dinner that August. I planned to do my own makeup, so I really just needed someone I trusted for hair. We connected over a video call so I could get a sense of her work and personality, and she was genuinely lovely. I loved her style, we clicked right away, and she quickly followed up with a contract for my August date. Unfortunately, the week before my event, Ana messaged me explaining that she needed to travel out of the country due to her father’s health. I completely understood the situation and was sympathetic. However, what became very stressful was the lack of clear communication afterward. She mentioned she might need to leave but never followed up with a definite answer. Given that my event was only a week away, I found myself repeatedly reaching out for updates — which is a nerve-wracking position for any bride. She did arrange for a friend to cover for her, which I appreciated, but because everything was so last-minute, I felt like I had no real choice in the matter. The handoff wasn’t communicated clearly, and I had to keep checking in myself to make sure the replacement was actually confirmed. On the day of, it was obvious her friend was rushed, as she had another client immediately after me, and the experience ended up feeling chaotic rather than calming. As a bride, the last thing you want is uncertainty around something as important as your hair. While I genuinely wish Ana and her family well, the overall lack of communication and the disorganized backup plan made the experience extremely stressful and disappointing.

    Anna did my hair and Anastasia did my makeup for my wedding on November 8 and they were fabulous! They are kind, professional, and calm artists who helped my wedding morning feel relaxed. They were already at the venue and smiling by the time I arrived with my mom and mother-in-law, and they worked with the three of us for about 3 hours. I was especially impressed with how they made my mom feel. She has sensitive skin, rarely wears makeup, and is very sensitive to smells. Anastasia worked closely with her to use products that my mom was comfortable with and she raved about the results. Although my mom had stressed about her hair for months, I recall seeing her very relaxed in Anna's chair and she loved what Anna did with her hair. I did a trial with Anna and Anastasia a few months before the wedding and they kindly made all of the tweaks I requested. At the trial, Anna gave me advice for what haircut and highlights would work best for me to achieve the braided hair design I was looking for and advised me on timing. They also worked with me to reach a price point I was comfortable with. I was thrilled with their work, and I would highly recommend them both!

    Anna (the business owner and primary makeup and hair stylist) is awesome: she listened to what I was looking for and executed it perfectly. She puts a lot of care into her work, she's kind and easy to talk to, and her rates are very reasonable. I was so happy with her work for my wedding and got so many compliments on my hair and makeup. I would highly recommend Anovystyle to brides, bridal parties, and anyone who wants to elevate their look for any event!

    Anna did such an amazing job on my hair and makeup for my wedding! She was so sweet and great to work with. She came to my location, which was very convenient. Anna definitely made my vision come to life while tailoring it to me my features! I would recommend her to anyone!!
