    Incredible, Delicious, Artistic

    “That was the best food I have ever had at a wedding, hands down” - multiple guests at and after our wedding. We booked The Rookery and worked with Jewell right off the bat. We booked our venue almost 2 years in advance, so we were not in a rush whatsoever, and we always felt calm and at ease with Jewell. Our first tasting was amazing, and then soon after, the President, Greg, took over our contract and we had a second tasting because, in his words “we can do a better chicken dish.” He was absolutely right! Everything we tasted, at both tastings, was literally impeccable. Greg and his staff know food. Jewell really went above and beyond throughout the whole process and Maria is such a pleasant and kind human. On the day of the wedding, everything was incredible. There were a few extremely minor misunderstandings that were frustrating for a moment but nothing huge or that made our event any less spectacular. The service staff was so incredibly fun, kind, and really elevated our wedding with their kindness and thoughtfulness. I would highly recommend working with Jewell, Greg and Maria if you have the chance!

    We couldn't be happier with the service provided by Jewell Catering. My now-husband and I first contacted Jewell 14 months before our wedding and loved them instantly. From the initial tasting, we were consistently impressed with their professionalism and quality. Everyone we worked with was a delight, both during the planning process and on the day of our wedding (we initially worked with Katherine and then Jennifer in the final stretch before the wedding). Throughout the planning process, both points of contact were always quick to respond to our queries, on top of any changes we should be aware of, and generally a pleasure to work with. I got a ton of compliments from our guests on both the quality of the food and the quality of the service, and I can't think of a thing I would have changed about their work. 10000% recommend!

    Amazing food, amazing service, book now!

    My (now husband) and I booked with Jewell Events Catering probably a year and a half before our wedding. During that 1.5 years, we spoke regularly with Greg Jenkins (President), Hailey, and Maria (the Jewell Catering team) and I can not verbalize enough how helpful, involved and willing to go the extra mile they all were. Greg truthfully felt like an additional day-of-coordinator the way he helped us create our table design, source beautiful chargers and draping, discuss the timeline of the day, and get into the nitty-gritty details of every.single.aspect of the day. Not to mention the food is UNBELIEVABLE. Everyone complimented are food and I'm not shocked it was perfect based on the incredibly attention to detail Greg has. Everything (and I mean to the crumb) is under a microscope with Greg team, which makes the end product better than you could imagine. There are not many vendors that you leave the wedding planning process feeling like you are REAL friends, but with Greg and the Jewell Catering team, both my husband and I are genuinely sad to no longer have regular planning meetings with them! Greg team will show up to the venue with multiple-onsite walkthroughs, coordinate with the venue to resolve issues, and will handle last minute external issues without it coming to us so we can be blissfully happy on our special day. I never really leave reviews, but I HAD to leave a review for this team as they were the shining star of our vendor list without question. It's also worth mentioning we looked at 10 caterers for our event and could not be HAPPIER with our choice to go with Jewell. A Chicago wedding is overwhelming and exhausting to plan, but Jewell made it so much easier. Do not question it and do not price shop (believe me we did and it's a waste of time as they are aligned pricing wise with other lower-service options) - BOOK JEWELL EVENTS CATERING.
