Hi! My name is Sarah Martinez, Owner, Founder and Pastry Chef of Sarah’s Dessert Bar. I started this business officially in January 2022 after unofficially starting it from my home making desserts and birthday cakes for friends and family. It quickly grew to the point I could no longer work my other job at the hotel I was working at, and had to choose between the two. I chose to take the leap of faith and embark on my own entrepreneurial journey.

I want to welcome you all to Sarah's Dessert Bar here you can find some of the best pastries in town. Current items include our famous macarons, tasty lemon bars, and ohhh so delicious cakes.     Sarah was amazing to work with. Her prices were reasonable and her desserts were amazing. We ended up just getting a small heart shaped cake for cutting and then sheet cakes, but we did do a tasting a few months before the wedding and sampled all her desserts and they were terrific. We got lots of compliments about our cake! We will definitely be using her in the future for other events! She was easy to communicate with and so nice!

    Our wedding cake was everything I dreamed of and more! She created the most epic NFL crossover cake — perfectly blending my vision and bringing it to life in the most fun and creative way. It looked absolutely amazing, and the flavors were just as incredible — the red velvet and marble layers were a total hit with everyone! She completely nailed every detail, from the design to the taste. I couldn’t have asked for a more talented baker or a more perfect cake for our big day.     Sarah was an absolute delight to work with for our October 2024 wedding. Her communication was always clear, effective, and she was incredibly patient as we finalized the details. The quality of her work was amazing - the desserts that were created for us were not only beautiful but delicious beyond words, we wish we could have had more! They even accommodated a custom order for some extra banana bread, which was a huge hit with our friends. In fact, one couple who tried the desserts at our wedding are now using Sarah's Dessert Bar for their own upcoming nuptials.
