Great DJ
We loved working with Midwest Sound for our wedding this year! Our DJ was Amanda and she was FABULOUS to work with! She was a great communicator, listened to what we wanted our music/dance floor to be like, and did an amazing job playing music that had everyone out on the dance floor! Midwest Sound was super easy to work with as well, and provided updates every step of the way. We would 100% recommend their services!

Great DJ company!
Midwest Sound is a reliable, well-established DJ company that did a great job for our wedding reception! They coordinated well with us and our reception venue coordinator to make sure cocktail hour, dinner service, speeches, and first dances went smoothly. They were easy to work with ahead of time as well, and accommodated our special requests, including our specific song needs for our mother-son and father-daughter dances. Highly recommend!

Great Choice!
Midwest Sound DJ Entertainment was an awesome choice for our wedding! From the start, their communication was easy and responsive. James, our DJ, made sure to stick to our no play song list even when some family members pushed back. The photo booth they provided was an absolute hit with all our guests. We are so glad we chose Midwest Sound DJ Entertainment - they truly contributed to making our special day perfect!

DJ James was cool and fit in well with our group. Would’ve been 5 stars but there were some “must play” songs that were missed from our list. Otherwise it was good service.

We require a $195 deposit. This comes off the total price of the event.

Yes. We email a digital contract for you to review and digitally sign. A copy of your signed contract can always be found in the Client Portal.

Gratuity is not automatically included. Most couples do choose to include a gratuity for their DJ.

The day of your event is the last opportunity to pay your remaining balance. You can pay through the Client Portal or pay cash, check, or money order directly to the DJ.

Our DJs use JBL speakers, an American Audio mixing board and Numark NDX’s.

Yes, we use all digital music. Due to licensing laws, we cannot use any streaming services. We only use purchased music from iTunes Store and Amazon Music Store.

Our equipment will need to be under the cover of a tent or outbuilding in the event of inclement weather and we require access to power. Our system can run off one dedicated outlet or extension cord, or a 2000+ watt generator.

You can select from a variety of popular styles that we can provide. If you would like specific songs during this time we would ask that you provide it, this could be on USB, CD or using an mp3 player/device.

We will happily purchase music for your event at no additional charge to you. Our only limitations are that we have to acquire music legally and we cannot provide music from streaming services.
