With this package an Echo Strummer musician will score your ceremony IN REAL TIME and time it perfectly all the way up to "you may kiss the bride".

Echo Strummer partners with the Content Agency, Jam Block Media in order to provide a video booth setup with question prompts (ie: sweet message to the newlyweds, fun story of your relationship w/newlyweds, favorite part of the ceremony, favorite song to hear at weddings, etc) and beauty lighting in order to create an even more personalized and interactive experience for you and your guests.

Depending on the needs of your wedding day, we can tailor wardrobe to fit the aesthetic, however typically a full suit.
Yes! We are constantly adding new music to our repertoire and can learn anything you would like to hear. We work together to tailor the set list to what fits best for your day.
Versatility: due to the one-man-band style of performance, we are able to move with the energy of the room in order to achieve the best possible musical experience and atmosphere. Whereas full bands may have to be a little more strict on the music being performed, we have the ability to adapt the setlist on the fly based on the energy in the room... and it shows! And also, The Cinematic Wedding Ceremony experience. If you have not seen it in action yet, make sure to ask us about it when you call. It sets apart your ceremony from the rest and adds truly adds something magical to your love story's big day.
Of course! We pride our versatility in performance and are always happy to accommodate requests. If we have it in our repertoire, we will play it! Request our full song list prior to the event in order to request your favorites on the day! :)
Yes, both! We have a mix of instrumental and vocal performances along with our singing-guitarists. Ceremonies are typically a mix of both instrumental and vocal and cocktail receptions are typically more vocal in order to start getting people in the mood for the DJ. Singing-guitarists! We have a wide breadth & eclectic mix of genres ranging from pop, hip-hop, and R&B, to rock, folk, and country. If you want to hear it, we can play it! Let's work together to make a setlist that matches exactly what you need!
Typically 90 minutes prior to the event in order to give plenty of time to coordinate on site with the wedding planning team, the venue's team, and get our own systems set up for a seamless transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception party.
Yes! We offer a simple video booth set up with a question prompt for all guests to send a message to the newlyweds, talk about their favorite wedding moment(s), request a song and tell us why it's the perfect song for a wedding, or any other prompt that you might want to have your friends and family answer. We also can provide lighting for performances, a stationary spotlight for ceremony/speeches/first dance, and beauty light for the video booth.
For out of state travel outside of our service areas, flight/mileage reimbursement + lodging for 2 nights (1 night prior to the event in order to get bearings and coordinate on the ground with the wedding planning team, 1 night on the night of the wedding). All fees are discussed in the planning & contracting phase of booking Echo Strummer. You will never be charged fees that you were not aware of up front!
The local state service tax is charged for states that charge a sales tax on services provided. Currently (2025), the state of Illinois does not charge a state sales tax on services provided.
