I've planned a few weddings at Skibowl now and it's been an awesome experience for me and my clients each time. It's a rustic yet beautiful venue with incredible views and offering a totally unique experience for weddings. The team is top-notch and so helpful and lovely to work with. I want to call out one wedding in particular, where we had unexpected snow in June and the whole team (from the planning team, to catering, to the shuttle drivers) pitched in to help and make the wedding happen and support me and my team as well. The Joel Palmer House Restaurant was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. First, if you have not stayed at the Allison Inn and Spa, that is a must! Second, if you are engaged you need to have your wedding here! My daughter's wedding was held here in August of 2024. The grounds and layout at the Allison are spectacular and perfect for a wedding. We had the ceremony in the lower Meadow Garden which was perfectly shaded as it was a sunny hot day. Then we had the cocktail hour on the lawn, followed by dinner and dancing in the ballroom. Truly the best venue!!! But most importantly it was the staff at the Allison. EVERYONE was so incredibly nice and kind. From Kameron, manager of wedding and social events, all the valets, chef, bartenders, waitstaff, and so many more that I met over the 4 days were constantly helpful, kind, and professional. The food was delicious and very well presented!! The specialty cocktails were such a hit and made to perfection. The desserts and baked goods were delicious. Kameron was such a delight to work with. She was extremely responsive to all our emails. She had many other events happening before and after our event but she always made us feel like we were so important. Kameron was always cheerful and pleasant to work with. Looking forward to going back to stay as guest again soon. This time, no wedding, just rest and relaxation!

We had our wedding here and, let me tell you, if you're looking for a fun, affordable wedding, here is your place! Everyone was ecstatic about the food options, we didn't have to choose for everyone. Zesti has a package where you can buy gift cards in bulk and guests can get their dinner from any of the carts! We had the option between close to the bar or the greenhouse, we chose the greenhouse. It was BEAUTIFUL. Nestled right next to the cutest plant shop, we were in tropical plant heaven. It was so nice to have so many amenities in one place. Other venues required us to pick so many different vendors. Here, the bar and dinner was already covered. Thank you, Zesti for a wonderful special day!

Nestled in the trees on Parrett Mountain, our wine tasting room is a cozy, inviting lodge-style experience. Drink wine by the fire or sit outside for a fantastic view of Mt. St. Helens between the trees. Construction of the building incorporated Cedar, Fir, and Maple harvested from our property. This wood was used for the siding, along with the 3 bars: Cedar, Fir and Maple live edge slabs. At the center of the building stands the top of the Cedar tree, standing 28 feet tall. Specializing in Big Bold Reds, we also have some award-winning Pinot Noir and white wines as well as local beer on tap. Our tasting room is a versatile space for hosting many events: private tastings, meetings, birthdays, small casual weddings, and more. Events must be catered. We have preferred caterers but will consider outside caterers as requested. We can seat 64-70 people inside and on the patio, but allow a maximum of 85 guests per event. We have 45 parking spots and 2 Tesla Charging stations.

The Jenkins Estate is a wonderful event venue with unique historic spaces, absolutely gorgeous grounds and an event staff that is experienced, helpful and goes the extra mile to create a memorable event. Highly recommend for any special event--private or nonprofit! The rental fees are extremely reasonable for the quality of staff and venue. Highly recommend! The space didn’t need much to dress it up, and Amaterra already had a lot on hand we were able to utilize including beautiful cross back chairs! While the space was amazing, the FOOD was absolutely one of the highlights of the night for everyone. We had so much fun choosing what would be on the menu at our tasting, and the dinner did not disappoint. Even the desserts we ordered to supplement our Dream Cakes cake were DELICIOUS! The Sanctuary Hall is a stunning, historical landmark in the heart of Portland's Arts District. My wife and I wanted to get married in a beautiful space, but we didn't want to be forced into a traditional, religious ceremony. Sanctuary Hall was the perfect venue! It's beautiful, with stained glass, old wood, lots of space, even a balcony. It's a very old building, with a good feeling to it. As soon as we saw it, it was easy to picture our ceremony there. Steve was a joy to work with - he was super-accommodating, the paperwork was simple, and he offered us all the options we needed. Additionally, the price was far less than most other places we had looked at. There was a minister available if we wanted, but we chose to have an ordained friend perform the service, which worked out fine. Steve was willing to move around furniture, let us use whichever rooms we wanted for preparation, changing, signing of documents, and so on. There was also an organist – Grant – available for the service. He was also amazing to work with, coming up with arrangements of music for us. I have hosted, and decorated a number of events in this space. The PDX Suite Spot is spacious, with beautiful exposed brick walls and large windows to view the “Portland” sign from inside. This space has room for VIP’s, Kitchen, DJ’s and more. There are elevators to take you to the second floor or a stairway that leads up with no issues. The hosts are just as kind. and professional. Communication is always returned within a reasonable time frame. I have also witnessed the host help setup for an event when the coordinators were late. This is definitely the type of over and above service I am looking for when choosing a venue to host my events. I highly recommend The Suite Spot and hope you’ll give them a chance as well.

We did the weekend package option for the venue and had the venue from Friday till Sunday. This was perfect for us because it allowed us to do the wedding rehearsal dinner at the same venue as the wedding. This helped us out a lot because we were planning this wedding from out of state.
