He also was such a fun personality to have around and added so much to the party! We have so many great photos of everyone up and dancing due to his skill of keeping things fun! He did a great job following our timeline and was very helpful in adding to it as needed when we weren't sure how to schedule things such as first dance, cake cutting and parental dances. We had aunts and uncles that I've NEVER seen dance, out on the floor tearing it up!You would not regret hiring this company! During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. “Everything about Pocket Change was a perfect addition to our wedding. Choosing our band was a major priority for us, as we know from experience they can make or break the reception. Pocket Change was everything we wanted, and more. From our first meeting with them, we felt comfortable and heard. They did a fantastic job of listening to our preferences and adapting that to what they were best at to deliver a great performance. They also did a great job of suggesting additions to our "must plays" that really went with the vibe we were looking for. Also, as a side note, the bride is a teacher, and we loved that Pocket Change is a band of music teachers! In addition to being absolutely perfect as a wedding band, they were also extremely affordable! We worked with some amazing vendors all around, but Pocket Change is the first review we're writing, because we really wanted to thank them for what they did to make our day special. We had a miscommunication with our venue about who was in charge of ceremony audio, and Pocket Change was able to jump in last minute to provide audio for the ceremony. They also let one of the bride's best friends join them on stage to sing Dancing Queen, which was so special for the bride and groom. There was a small issue with the wireless microphone during speeches, and their technician was able to jump in and solve it immediately! They were great at going with the flow and making situations that could have been stressful not at all. In almost every conversation we have had with guests since our wedding, someone has brought up what a great band they were. Hire Pocket Change - you will not be disappointed!!!”

Clockwork will make your wedding truly spectacular. Not only will all of your friends and family be on the dance floor the entire night, but you will be showered with compliments about how awesome the band is and how much fun they’re having. And this will continue for weeks and months after your wedding!

“My daughter recently got married in Newport, Rhode Island, on September 14th, 2024. She choose to have her reception in a tent on the lawn of the Eisenhower House. The venue was stunning and the woman at EH recommended Clockwork as we were looking for a local band with horns to play at the reception. We were not able to hear them in person, but all the video's posted online more than helped our decision making process and we quickly booked the band 20 months in advance, It was our second decision in the wedding process after the venue -with many, many more to come, but without a doubt - IT WAS THE BEST DECISION!!!! Booking was easy - we sent a check to reserve the date. the catalog of music they are capable of playing is extensive. But we had a tremendous comfort level with Clockwork New England as the contract states YOU GET THE EXACT MUSICIANS you see on all the website videos. There are no switches, or long lists of band members they slot in on any given day. Everyone we saw and loved are the people that showed up for our event. From start to finish - the band rocked the night away - the dance floor was never empty. They sang the bride and grooms song 'You are the Best Thing" and it was spectacular. And every song after that just got us up off our feet. The horns added so much - we keep hearing from friends asking us who they were, because they LOVED the music. The interactions with the crowd also made the night so memorable - and some of the best videos of the night. The band worked well together - and we just cannot say enough about how much they added to the party. Patrick joined a zoom call we had w our planner a week or so earlier than the event - and went over every detail - completely putting our minds at ease. 5 stars are NOT ENOUGH!! They truly made our event the best it could have possibly been! I want to do it again!”

Jeff’s process is both thoughtful and intentional. Our interview with him was a guided conversation that provoked a lot of thought in what we wanted in our wedding. His gift upon contract execution was incredibly kind and made us feel like we won a bid and not the other way around. On the day of our wedding and even conversations still following the wedding, everyone has said Jeff could read the room. He knew when to play a genre, how to transition to the next- and the selection was incredible. He even let me borrow a mic and sing to my guests when my favorite karaoke song came on!
