For outdoor ceremony, we have two beautiful options. The first is on the 10th tee. This location overlooks the golf course and the Blue Ridge Mountains. The other outdoor option is the Glenmore Pavilion. Designed by the team behind Pippin Hill, this beautiful, new open-air pavilion overlooks the golf course and the Blue Ridge Mountains, and it is covered so you would not need to worry about renting a tent for your outdoor space. Couples can host a gorgeous outside ceremony on the concrete patio, or opt for a covered pavilion ceremony. The pavilion is open on three sides to bring the beautiful scenery indoors, but the sides and barn-style doors can be closed in the event of inclement weather. Inside the pavilion, lighting is provided by lanterns and chandeliers, and a large hand-crafted fireplace takes spotlight, with rocks from the farm incorporated into its design. The outdoor patio is attached to the pavilion, creating an extra space that can be used for a ceremony, reception area, or dance floor. A second pavilion was completed in 2018 to provide reception space that is separate from the ceremony site, but within close proximity. This pavilion is completely enclosed and offers a gas fireplace as well as lanterns and chandeliers for lighting. As wedding guests arrive, wedding parties can use the bridal suite to get ready.

Our goal is to provide a million dollar outside wedding site at an affordable price AND treat every bride like she is our own daughter. In the 1950’s thru the mid 1970’s the site was known as Motts Run Landing, which provided access to the Rappahannock River for families, boaters and fishermen by day and a local lovers lane by night. In 1979 Gene & Linda Clore purchased this 2 ½ acre slice of heaven and dedicated their lives to the fun and pleasure of those who wished to enjoy the Rappahannock and Rapidan rivers by canoe. Because of it’s natural beauty a friend of the family, in 1993, requested to have their wedding overlooking the river. Thus was the inception of Riverside Weddings. After a few years of one or two weddings per year with family and friends (and friends telling friends about our enchanting spot to get married) it was obvious that we had become “Riverside Weddings by Clore”
